Author has written 1 story for Dungeons and Dragons. It seems proper to write a bio for a public site, so here we go! I am a senior in college right now double majoring in Political Science and History. I aim to go to grad school afterword and see what I can bring to the world professionally. You'll probably see a lot more detail on politics & history in this story than you'd expect because of my focus irl lol. I have never written fiction before, only hundreds of essays and reports, so this is all quite new to me. While it has been too long since I've really read too much fiction, I certainly see its value and have re-embraced my love for it. I recently re-read the Game of Thrones Series, the Lord of the Rings trilogy (next is Silmarillion!), and (on a less literary note and more of appreciation for its way of presenting fiction) quite a bit of manga in the vein of Made in Abyss, Berserk, Goblin Slayer, Vinland Saga, and other dark fantasies. If you start reading my story (it'll be a long one & likely the only one I post), you'll likely notice quite a few references or name uses from some of my favorite video games. Ones to keep an eye out for in particular are The Banner Saga, Witcher, Elder Scrolls, Pillars of Eternity (Obsidian is best studio), and others. The story I will be writing out is one regarding a Dungeons and Dragons homebrew universe I wrote out. While my friends and I did not get too far into the campaign (real life happens), I thought that the universe and story should be shared with any who were interested in reading about it. That is the fundamental goal, to express this universe and its story in a way that will interest readers and have something fun to look forward to, ideally. I'm not very good at browsing haphazardly, but if there is something of yours or a friend's you'd like me to read, I am always happy to do so! Just send me a PM. Critiques are always welcome and appreciated, for I have a lot of room to grow as a writer! I'll offer critiques too, but I think I'm lacking the experience to properly do that as of right now. I am unsure of my update schedule, but i will aim for twice a month. Each post will have two posts in it, one will be a post directly advancing the story line, with the second post focusing on a particular aspect of lore, history, or other details. Please note that if you are interested about lore I have not mentioned extensively, simply request it in the comments and I'll most likely cover it! I hope you have a nice day! |
