Author has written 4 stories for Chronicles of Narnia.

"Fairy tales are more than true; not because they tell us that dragons exist,

but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten."

-G.K. Chesterton

Hello there! My name is Dymphna, which is an Irish name meaning "fawn." It's not my real name though it does sound somewhat like my real name...

I'm homeschooled high school, I have 18 chickens (all of whom I love dearly), a garden, and a few other pets. I love to hike, do archery, sing, sew, and read and write. I write in hopes of improving and any reviews or critiques are always most welcome. I read a whole variety of books, and I write a lot of original works (none of which are very good) but when it comes to fanfiction I pretty much just stick to Narnia and The Lord of the Rings.

I love competitions and challenges. And I cannot begin to stress that enough. I don't know why it is, but anything that says "competition" or "challenge" is immensely appealing to me. If you ever know of some good writing challenge out there, please let me know!

I am an Orthodox Christian and this greatly influences my writing. As such, I will not be writing anything inappropriate or crude.

Also, note that the user Cowboy-4-Christ is my dear friend and partner-in-writing. You can find his profile in my Favourite Authors section (alongside some other very brilliant people) -- Please check out his works also! :-)

Story Update: I have deleted "An Oasis of Peace" for now, as I was not pleased with how it was going. I will repost after I've rewritten it.

"Father asks to have it passed on to all who have remained loyal to him and to those on whom they might have influence, that they not avenge him; he has forgiven and prays for everyone; and not to avenge themselves, but to remember that the evil which is now in the world will become yet more powerful, and that it is not evil which conquers evil, but only love."

-Grand Duchess Olga Nikolaevna, daughter of Tsar Nikolai II, the last tsar of Russia

"All that is gold does not glitter,

Not all those who wander are lost;

The old that is strong does not wither,

Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

From the ashes a fire shall be woken,

A light from the shadows shall spring;

Renewed shall be the blade that was broken,

The crownless again shall be king."

-J.R.R. Tolkien

"Wrong will be right, when Aslan comes in sight,

At the sound of his roar, sorrows will be no more,

When he bares his teeth, winter meets is death,

And when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again."

-C.S. Lewis

And please remember:

"Speak politely to an enraged dragon." J.R.R. Tolkien
