![]() Author has written 24 stories for NCIS. About me: I write because it makes me happy (although it's not so great for the time management skills, but whatever), and I post because getting reviews makes me even happier :) In addition to my NCIS stories, I also dabble in original stories, with 'dabble' being a fairly generous word for it. I've finished two stories and have ideas for about a hundred more, but just can't figure out how to make them work. I like details, in case you can't tell. I also like blankets made from baby alpaca wool. Oh, and when I'm at work, you can't see me :) About my stories: I'm a hopeless romantic, so all of my stories, if not centered around that theme, have some sort of relationship-aspect to them. Pretty much, that means that I like cutesy relationship-type stuff in my stories, without being cutesy (if you can figure out what that sentence was supposed to mean, please let me know, because I have no clue). I don't really like stories that don't have a point, so I don't really write those. As I see it, I have two different kinds of stories: episode additions/endings, which are one-shots; and case-fic type stories with multiple chapters that do have a lot of characterization/character development/whatever in them, but begin and end with a case. I used to have two series of longer stories, but I've essentially combined them so they fit together (but aren't necessarily all that related). I also didn't write or post them in chronological order, so for your sake, here's how they fit together: Deep Lacerations As I said, I like to dabble in original stories. I have Falling on Unyielding Ground on Fictionpress, which is the back story of Kim Tomblin and Jeff Cunningham from The Price of Honesty. Check it out on my Fictionpress page: http://www.fictionpress.com/~sashile. The story was a completely different beast than I anticipated, as most of my stories become. I'm currently working on posting a sequel to that one, Hitting Hard, which is going up on Fictionpress at a fairly slow rate. Feel free to stop by while waiting for me to return to FFN. As far as the story Loose Ends, I recently published a completely original story, The Network: Convergence, that has those original characters, a few years before Loose Ends takes place. Check it out: . And please buy a copy... I need royalties! Random one-liner: In the jungle, the army doctor looked up from his patient to address his superior officer. "Bad news, sir," he said. "We've got a case of beriberi here." The officer replied, "Send it to the Marines. They'll drink anything." |
