![]() Author has written 4 stories for Sherlock. connecting to WiFi Doctor... I don't know where I am. Oh wait a minute (awkward pause) this is my profile. Anyway... Hello and welcome! A little about me:
My favorite colors are black, dark grey, and maroon. (People tell me all the time that I am weird for liking such dark colors, but the truth is, bright colors just bother me sometimes. Yellow for example.) I absolutely love BBC Sherlock. (I have a major obsession. Ask me anything about the show, and I know the answer.) I am also obsessed with everything Sherlock Holmes. (I love the portrayal done by Robert Downey Jr. in the two American movies and the portrayal done by Jeremy Brett in the 1984 version of the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. I will get to reading the original books by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.) I am American. (But, my lineage is from all across Europe. I am basically considered a European mutt. If you don't already know what that means, it means that I have a mixture of many different nationalities from Europe. I am 1/8 English. I am also Scottish, Welsh, Irish, and French (to name a few). But weirdly enough, I am also 1/32 Lenape Native American.) I have only been outside the United States once and that was for a cruise to Cozumel, Mexico and the Cayman Islands. (I wish I could travel more, but sadly I don't have enough money to do so. England would be my first stop if I ever get to go somewhere.) I am lazy. (Just ask my mother, and she will go on and on about how lazy I am and how I do nothing at all with my life. Yeah, she gets annoyed with me sometimes, especially when I ask her to hand me something that is right next to me. I guess I am like Sherlock in that aspect.) I write Sherlock FanFiction because to me it is like writing a script for what I think would be a perfect episode or snippet of an episode in the Sherlock series. It is quite fun to be able to control what all the characters do and say. I am like their puppet master! I have thought about writing stories for other Television shows, but never get around to it. (I have considered writing stories for Person of Interest, Lie To Me, Psych, Prison Break, and Doctor Who, but have found it more exciting to write Sherlock FanFiction.) James Moriarty is the best villain that was ever created! (Especially the BBC Sherlock version that is played by Andrew Scott. He is an absolutely brilliant actor and is really good at portraying a psychopath.) I absolutely love the actors Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman, Andrew Scott, Mark Gatiss, David Tennant, Matt Smith, Tim Roth, Robert Downey Jr., and Tom Hiddleston. (They are my inspiration. Enough said.) I find that if Steven Moffat wasn't into the production of television, then he would be one of the greatest criminal masterminds in the world! (That would also go for Mark Gatiss as well.) I think John Watson is so adorable when he is wearing his jumpers. (Well, he always looks adorable, but the jumper totally helps in making him look sooooo much more cuddly and hugable!) Benedict Cumberbatch is one of the hottest and sexiest men I have ever seen! (Every one of his features is just perfect! Especially his cheekbones and his eyes! I just melt every time I watch him on the television or in a movie and when I see pictures of him.) My favorite quotes of all time: "I always wanted to be somebody, but now I realize I should have been more specific." Lily Tomlin "I think Sherlock is more flawed than the Doctor, in that he's chasing a delusion, I suppose. The remark I always make is that the Doctor is like an angel aspiring to be human, and Sherlock is a man aspiring to be a god. Neither of them come close to succeeding in that aim, or ever could. It'd be impossible for them." "Falling down will be your downfall, if you never change a thing. Just remember the angel you were before you broke your wings." "A psychosomatic soul of a soldier with an undefined charisma." "Don't make people into heroes, John. Heroes don't exist, and if they did, I wouldn't be one of them." "No, no, NO! Of course he's not the boy's father! Look at the turn-ups on his jeans!" "Oh, hell! What does that matter?! So we go around the sun! If we went around the moon or round and round the garden like a teddy bear, it wouldn't make any difference! All that matters to me is the work! Without that, my brain rots. Put that in your blog - or better still, stop inflicting your opinions on the world!" "I am you. Prepared to do anything. Prepared to burn. Prepared to do what ordinary people won't do. You want me to shake hands with you in hell? I shall not disappoint you." "Oh, I may be on the side of the angels...but don't think for one second that I am one of them." "Every fairy tale needs a good old fashioned villain. You need me or you're nothing — because we're just alike, you and I. Except you're boring. You're on the side of the angels." "Nuclear codes? I could blow up NATO in alphabetical order." "In a world of locked rooms, the man with the key is king. And honey, you should see me in a crown." "You being all mysterious with your cheekbones and turning your coat collar up so you look cool." "Yeah, well, apparently it's against the law to chin the Chief Superintendent." "I always hear "punch me in the face" when you're speaking, but it's usually subtext." "You … you told me once … that you weren't a hero. Umm… There were times when I didn't even think you were human, but let me tell you this. You were the best man, the most human ... human being that I've ever known and no one will ever convince me that you told me a lie, and so ... there. I was so alone ... and I owe you so much. But please, there's just one more thing, one more thing, one more miracle , Sherlock, for me, don't be ... dead. Would you do that just for me? Just stop it. Stop this…" Words of Wisdom: Not one shred of evidence supports the notion that life is serious. Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity. If you must choose between two evils, pick the one you've never tried before. When you eat a candy bar or have a wonderful dessert, have a diet drink. The calories are cancelled out by the diet drink. Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just don't have film. The cost of living hasn't affected its popularity. I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem. If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.Stuff to Ponder About: What was the greatest thing before sliced bread? How can there be self-help "groups"? Is there another word for 'synonym'? If swimming is so good for your figure, how do you explain whales? You know the speed of light, so what's the speed of dark? Why do they put Braille dots on the keypad of the drive-up ATM? How can someone "draw a blank"? When you choke a smurf, what color does it turn? Why do you press harder on the buttons of a remote control when you know the batteries are dead? Can you sentence a homeless man to house arrest? Do birds pee? |
