![]() Author has written 22 stories for Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, Hobbit, and Harry Potter. Can't sing, can't dance, can't handle a sword a little. I'm Bronze Cat and I live somewhere under a rain cloud in Scotland! I read mainly fantasy, watch far too much television and am almost permanently attached to my laptop, which is named Milou, after a certain little white dog. Fandomwise, I love Lord of the Rings and Sherlock. I've been an avid fan of Tolkien ever since my dad read me the Hobbit at about the age of 8. At about the same time, I picked up The Master Blackmailer in my school's library and so began what I believe will be a life-long love of Sherlock Holmes and his adventures. I shamelessly ship Dramione from Harry Potter and Arya/Gendry from Game of Thrones. I'm also a Slytherin and I will defend my House until the end of time. I'm also partial to a bit of Neil Gaiman. Neverwhere is probably my favourite book ever and certainly the amazing Mr Croup and Mr Vandemar are my favourite pair of villains. (I met Neil Gaiman at a book signing on the 28th August 2013. I may have fangirled and stood there like a slack-jawed idiot. I write with OCs, most of which are female. I personally find it easier to understand the particular universe I am writing in through the eyes of a character which I invented. Why female OCs? Well, I'm female and I know how girls think. In theory. I'm a strange one. I guess I'm also a bit cynical when it comes to love because none of my characters get a typical Happily Ever After. About reviews - I'm sorry but I only leave a review if I think there is something worth saying. I am not the sort of person who leaves a review going Loved it! on every single chapter. I try to give constructive criticism and I will never outright flame someone unless it is an Obvious Troll being Obvious. Again, I only answer reviews if I have something to say. But, I do make the point of looking at the profiles of everybody who reviews or follows and if one of your works catches my eye, then I may read it. Disclaimer because I forget it in all my stories - If you recognise it, I don't own it. I own my OCs but that's about it. I try to stick to canon when I can and if I diverge then I try to come up with a justification instead of just saying "This is fanfiction so I will do what I want!". I write only for fun and to improve my skills as a writer. The sort of twee person who thinks swearing is in any way a sign of a lack of education or a lack of verbal interest... is just a f*ing lunatic - Stephen Fry There is no-one else like you. Follow your dreams and don't let the b@stards wear you down - Brian Blessed Zapp - This whole sector is uncharted! "Let's eat Grandma!" or "Let's eat, Grandma!" Punctuation saves lives. Face Claims - I have fallen down the deep dark hole of face claims and so will be compiling a list of them here. All canon characters will be played by their film counterparts unless otherwise stated. Forging a Nation Ashes Flames Beneath the Cloisters Ada - Emma Watson Sir Titus Speight, Rector of the University - Nick Dunning Mehdi al-Tash - Suraj Sharma | |||||||
