![]() Author has written 5 stories for Dragon Age. I've never considered myself a writer, but I fell in love with the characters and the settings of Dragon Age and after reading a lot of really awesome fic here, I decided to try my hand. I'm a huge fan of stories about Awakening and it's characters, though I have been known to get behind some well-written stuff featuring the likes of Cullen, Alistair or Zevran. I REALLY NEED A BETA READER RIGHT NOW! Specifically, I need someone who can help me with narrative tension, action scenes, and the whole showing vs. telling bit, and can also work within the constraints of my hatred of adverbs and minimalist writing style. On the off chance that person exists and has free time, please send me a PM! In Love and Death is a series of fics in the same universe. It is so named because some parts of the story tie in to the songs on an album of the same name, albeit very loosely and possibly only in the vast nexus of weird connections that is my mind. In Love and Death - Part 1: When All That's Left Is You is a Dragon Age: Awakening fic told from the point of view of Anders as he's looking back on his time with the Wardens. Currently undergoing revisions to chapters 1-24. Will resume soon. 17/06/2014--Chapters 1 - 21 have been revised and posted and an additional chapter (Chapter 20) has been added. When that is finished, I plan to write In Love and Death - Part 2, a parallel fic from the PoV of one of the other characters. Home is Where the Heart Is is a short one-chapter fic in the same universe as In Love and Death told from the PoV of Josephine Cousland as she thinks about what to do now that her Wardens are stable. It was written as a gift for Aphreal42 on Tumblr as part of BioWare Valentines 2013. Snow is a short one-chapter fic in the same universe as In Love and Death written for Glitzkrieg on Tumblr. If you want to know some thoughts on my writing in general, visit me on Tumblr at DrizzitWrites. I update occasionally.
