Name: like I'm going to tell you

Likes: reading, writing, being outside, reading, eating, sleeping in the sun, reading, listening to and writing music, singing, and reading, oh, and cats

Dislikes: humming noises, overly rude people (sometimes you have to be a little rude, but not to the extent some people go), grammar mistakes (so if I ever make any, tell me), people who think they are always right

Well. By some wicked weird twist of fate, you (whoever you may be) are reading my profile. Why? Who knows. Not you, apparently. So even though I'm not in a million years going to tell you my name (and if anyone else does, you'll find them in a corner babbling gibberish soon after), I think my paranoia will let me tell you something about me:

I'm about 5'7, with straight brown hair about shoulder length, glasses, braces, and hazel eyes, which, according to my boyfriend, turn bright yellow on occasion. I love reading over most activities, but not all. I write beautiful "elven" music, as my friends call it. I can write all kinds of poetry because it just falls out of my head. And I've written stories that we be best sellers if I could only remember how the ended in my head.

As you may have inferred, I have a boyfriend, who has hair longer than mine, more earrings in one ear than I do, a lip ring and a tattoo. And, trust me, when I first met him, I may have fantasized about dating him, but I never thought it would actually happen. And it's totally and wickedly amazing that it did :) Also, he is as much of a bookworm as I am and he's got me into several series, the most recent being the Legend of Drizzt books. He plays with fire and knives and is as crazy about the Middle Ages as I'll ever get. And I love him way more than I should. Or maybe not enough.

Another friend worthy of mention, is my best friend. Some of you might know her as Nightstar's-girl. She's one of my favorite friends in the Universe, and the only one who knows how far my story is. She's a petite little goblin and you shouldn't mess with her, she'll send them after you and you can explain how the car got on the roof. She is one of the least depressing people I know, and though others may question her sanity, I know as well as she does that they're the ones that are really insane. Seriously.

A Place I Dream Of

sometimes i wander
to a place i dream of
get lost in the illusion of
grandeur and majesty
till some sledge hammer
in the shape of my living nightmares
shatters the peace and
sends me spinning to earth
crash landing falling hitting hard
once there i try
to pick up the pieces
but something keeps knocking
me down
when out of the darkness
comes the hero of my dreams
to melt the chains that hold me back
to lift me up and take me home
to a place i dream of

Another Writing Example

The Dragon's Slumber

Sleeping deeply for long, long years,
on treasure stolen from fair maidens and knights,
is a dragon.
With red eyes and a heart of solid gold,
he sleeps the time away till tales of old unfold.

He sleeps soundly,
dreaming of tall palaces,
where Arabian shadows spin their tales.
Of the smallest princess's cry for help,
as she learns her lessons
as a damsel in distress.

He sleeps knowing no one will disturb him,
knowing that death awaits those who dare to steal his plunder.
But he sleeps, also, knowing
that one day a knight with face covered by helm,
will challenge his right to live with his treasure
and wake him from his slumber.

The prophecies of ancient times tell of a girl, young but wise,
who will confront the beast and win.
But the dragon will live as the girl lives,
alone and hopeless;
in the smallest house,
in the smallest town,
of the smallest country.
It is not a fate the dragon will wish to accept.

So he sleeps,
with the hope that the girl will never come;
never banish him from his home, and never live alone.
For he is a kind dragon, as said before,
with a heart of gold, the purest ore;
and he hopes that never should one live
without friends or love,
as the girl is said to be.

You know what sucks a lot? Being sick during summer vacation. Not that its sunny anyways, but still, what a rip off. So, I have a cold and its wet. Not that anyone who reads this will care. Why should they? It's not their life. They're probably quite happy enjoying the sun and summer wherever they are. Live it up for me.

Well, now that I'm done being, depressing, for the most part. I'd like to thank whoever is spending their precious time reading this profile for reading it and hopeful enjoying my poems. If you didn't keep it to yourself, I really hate it when people insult my work. Anyways thanks again and maybe over the summer I'll actually write a fanfic to back up this profile.

HELLO!! As you can tell I'm in a much better mood then the last time i wrote, having had an awesome week including kayaking, swimming, getting lost, hiking and sleep overs. All in all, wicked amazing. I've spent numerous hours with my composer and my best friends. So I am rather happy to be alive. I hope you can say the same. And if not, get someone to give you a hug and trust me, jumping is not the answer. Have fun with your life.
