Hello fellow weirdos!

If you are reading this profile, you are probably hoping to learn a little more about me. Even though I'm not big on sharing personal info for the whole world to see, here's some stuff to satisfy your hunger.

I've been in the fanfiction world for quite some time now. My profile here is new, but I've read countless stories on this website during the last years before I decided to register. I've also spent five years being an accredited beta-reader on another ff website. I've stopped doing it because I no longer have the time (so, don't even bother asking).

In those years, I've seen the good, the bad, the mind-blowing and the truly awful, and as time went by, I've started to lay some rules as to what kind of stories I would agree to work on and for my personnal reading.

I also wrote many stories, from one-shots to multi-chaptered, and I always laugh at myself when I go back an read the first ones I wrote. My style definitely evolved with time and practice. I don't know if I'll post some of my old stories on this website since some of them are not that relevant now. Characters have evolved since the time I wrote those stories and that would mean that most of them would have to be "alternate universe," which I hate.

The way I see it, alternate universe stories and out-of-character characters kill all the fun out of ff. Face it; the reason someone writes or reads ff about a particular world or tv series or book is because they like that universe and those characters and the way all those elements play together. If you start to go too far from their original universe and you change key personality traits, you are writing an original story and simply using known names and places to attract readers. If you're going to change everything, go ahead and write an original story. There are great websites for those too.

I realize that it is a strong opinion, but I don't mean to offend anyone. Maybe just convince one or two to try and keep the people they write about true to their real character.

Also, stories under 1 000 words per chapter (other than poems, songs, prologues and epilogues), stories without a valid summary, or stories with awful spelling have me running in the other direction faster than my best friend finding a snake in her backyard.

And since I was one for so long, I strongly recommend using a beta-reader. It can be to simply get a second opinion on your story or for the whole package (spelling, grammar, flow, characters, plot, style and dialog), but it can make a huge difference. I'll even admit to you that on one of my better stories (which had a huge following of readers) I had three different beta-reader working on a particularly important chapter. That particular chapter was so important to the story and had to be done juuuuust right that I didn't want to take any chance. It turned out amazing after I combined the feedback from all those people.

If there's something in particular you want to know about me, just ask. I don't use the same penname on other websites, so don't be fooled if you think you've seen the name somewhere else.

And finally, that's a picture of my (ex) dog up there. We had her for over 11 years and I still love her as much as if she was still with us.

That's it for now. See ya!

Sam always thought that people were like quality ham. They're not all tender and rosy flesh. If you care to dig a little bit, you'll find the bone; that's what really matters. For reasons better know to herself, Sam decides to dig for Freddie's bone.
