Hi there ! I don't know what I can say about myself, besides the fact that I love reading (mostly fantasy and science fiction novels) and watching all kinds of movies, especially animation. Maybe just mention that I'm a French Canadian who rarely ever has to speak another language, which may explain my mediocre English and the expressions that might sound strange.

Here on FanFiction.Net, I like to read all kinds of fics long and short about some of the books and movies that have inspired me in a particular way. I'm particularly fond of stories that try to delve deeply into a character's soul. I'm not against a bit of romance when it contributes to the character development, but while I easily get sentimental, I'm not a romantic person at all, so the only kind of love stories I'm likely to write are those that stay either very innocent and platonic or that are simply impossible. I'm usually a lot more more interested in stories about deep friendships or family bonds. I also tend to prefer introspection or general reflection to stories focussing on adventure itself, because getting to know the characters and watching them evolve is what really interests me.

Now, for those who have read my fics, you may have noticed that so far, most of them aren't really "stories" as much as... trains of thought, actually. I guess I just like trying to understand a character that intrigues me and to look at a situation from their point of view. Right now, I lack good ideas to write proper fiction and I can't invest too much time on that, but hopefully my writing skills will get a chance to improve a tiny bit when I won't be so busy. The somewhat boring fics I have written so far are merely a way for me to keep practicing my English writing in the meantime, even though I don't have much time and inspiration for the moment.
