![]() Author has written 1 story for Merlin. I'm 21 years old, located in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. I attend the University of Hawaii at Manoa as a full time student, and I also have a part-time job as a retail cashier. I'm in the process of writing my own story for the Once Upon a Time fandom. Currently, the title I'm going with is "A Light in the Dark" and is a Peter Pan/OC (Tiger Lily) pairing that is hopefully different from all the other ones out there. It will be posted once I have finished writing it, that way I can post the chapters regularly. There's a second story I have planned for the Once Upon a Time universe that is my own rewrite of Season 5, replacing the current Arthurian Legend characters with the ones from the BBC television series Merlin. Season 5 has to be the biggest disappoint for me as I loved Colin Morgan, Bradley James, and the other members of the BBC cast; so in my version of Camelot on OUAT, it will be a slight crossover with BBC Merlin. But with the way I'm planning on writing it, you don't have to have watched the BBC series. I plan on writing it like you're watching OUAT, meaning there will be flashbacks to Fairytale Land. Below are a list of my favorites that I read fanfiction for as well as some story recommendations: Harry Potter: "Priori Incantatem" by fellytone; if you're in for a long one, this story contains 64 chapters full of Lily and James, and the Marauders of course. This was written before the release of the sixth book, so it doesn't 100 percent fit in with canon, but it's an amazing story that will bring you to tears. After you finish reading this, a one-shot companion piece titled "A Sacrifice" should be next on your list. "That Potter Boy" by BadgerInMySoup; a one-shot of Lily and James from Mr. Evans' point of view throughout Lily's seven years at Hogwarts. "Yeah, Okay" by CokeBottleK; Lily doesn't say yes to James often, but at least one time each year, she did. A cute way of showing the progress of Lily and James' relationship from classmates, to friends, to lovers. "Stray" by Molly Raesly; A Sirius Black story with a Muggle OC that isn't a Mary Sue. After his motorcycle breaks down during a storm, Sirius takes refuge in a Muggle diner where he befriends the waitress. "In the Words of Ginevra Molly Potter" by thejealousone; a 23 chapter story of the "Harry Potter series" from Ginny's perspective, starting from book one up until the end of the series. It goes more in depth of Harry and Ginny's relationship that the series didn't go into, showing more of how Harry finally started to return Ginny's feelings. "Ginny Weasley and the Half-Blood Prince" by RRFang; this story is also of the series from Ginny's point of view, but this one starts at the ending of the fifth book when the DA goes to rescue Sirius. "New Leaf to Turn" by slavetothepen; what if Dudley's son gets a letter from Hogwarts? Mortal Instruments: "Blue" by Spun; an Alec and Magnus one-shot where Magnus is full of color and Alec is not. Chronicles of Narnia: "Walk This World" by Meteoric Tree; a "what if Caspian ends up in our world" story. This story takes place before "The Last Battle." The pairing is Caspian and Susan. It's sequel is "In All the Worlds." "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Real Voyage of the Dawn Treader" by x.muse93.x; a "what if Peter and Susan also returned to Narnia in Voyage of the Dawn Treader" story. Again, the pairing is Caspian and Susan. "Lost Chronicles of Narnia: The Beast of Witherby" by emeraldteardrops; a "what if the Pevensies weren't sent back to our world at the end of Prince Caspian" story. Pairing is always Caspian and Susan. This story is incomplete, but what is written is amazing. If you don't mind wishing there was more, go ahead and read. "Til They're Before Your Eyes" by rosa lunae; another "what if Caspian ends up in our world" story, but this one takes place after "The Last Battle," meaning the Pevensies (minus Susan) are in Aslan's Country. Caspian is sent by Aslan to help Susan remember Narnia, but having been the only survivor of the train accident that took her family doesn't mean she's completely unharmed. Having lost her sight, Susan can't only not remember Caspian, she can't see him. This story is also incomplete, but what's written is an amazing read. "The Magnificent" by Capegio, "Of Telmarine Descent" by LunaStorm, and "Iridescent" by LostInWonderland72; all one-shots of the lingering effects Narnia has on the Pevensies. Sailor Moon: "Against All Odds" by Dejana Talis; Serenity is the Moon Princess and Endymion is a stable boy in servitude of the Moon Kingdom. A different telling of Usagi/Serena and Mamoru/Daren's past lives. This one will tear at your heart and have you crying at the end. Vampire Knight: "The Vampire King" by Kezzikun; The original Vampire Knight, but 100% Yuuki/Kaname, meaning Yuuki isn't torn between Kaname and Zero. This story is rated 'M' though, for smut. I praise this story for making Kaname a little less uptight and with a sense of humor. It's sequel is "The Vampire Queen" and a companion one-shot is titled "The Merchant Granny." A Song of Ice & Fire / Game of Thrones: "Truth Breeds Lies" by DizzyDG; after Robert's Rebellion, Ned brings two babies to Winterfell instead of just one. He also tells Catelyn the truth of Jon's birth. Two major changes that make all the difference for the survival of House Stark. Main pairing is Robb and Daenerys, but there are many other non-canon pairings that you'll end up loving. Once Upon a Time: "A Very Sweet Subject" by Albion19; what happened between Peter and Wendy in Neverland before the Shadow brought her back to London? How did Wendy end up back in Neverland after the Shadow took Baelfire? This story answers those questions. Slight AU as Pan is not Rumple's father; instead, there is a different explanation as to why he needs the Heart of the Truest Believer. "The Riddle of His Being" by Albion19; the sequel to "A Very Sweet Subject" tells how Wendy spent her time in Neverland while Peter waits for the boy who has the Heart of the Truest Believer whilst answering many more questions about Peter and Wendy, with Captain Hook, Tinkerbell, Felix, and the unforgettable Rufio. "Greatest Pretend" by Albion19; the final story in the "A Very Sweet Subject" trilogy. Henry has arrived in Neverland and its time for Peter to put his plan in action. Just who do we root for: sweet, innocent Henry who wishes to be a hero like his family, or this version of Peter Pan we wish was canon (and still portrayed by the adorable Robbie Kay, because, let's face it, 75 percent of the reason why we like OUAT's Peter Pan is because of Robbie Kay). (Crossover) Rise of the Guardians & Frozen: "Frostbitten" by Arialene; Jamie is an English major writing a paper on the Snow Queen, so Jack tells him of his time before becoming a guardian--when he spent time in a Norwegian kingdom named Arendelle and fell in love with its queen. This is probably the most popular Jack/Elsa fanfic, one that everyone in the fandom knows about. "Released" by thesirenserenity; Elsa and Jack are dancers at a fine arts academy. Leader of the school's dance team, Jack enlists Elsa to join so they can participate in a national dance competition. Also features Tangled, Brave, and How to Train Your Dragon. "Silent Voices" by WickedgreenPhantom; shy new girl Elsa just moved to America with her family from Norway. English is her second language, and she is bullied by her classmates for her accent and few Norwegian slip-ups. Jack is Deaf and communicates with the use of Sign Language, which he is also bullied for. "Of Golden Snitches and First Kisses" by tristinai; Overachieving Elsa of Ravenclaw, in exchange for house points, tutors trouble-making Jack Frost of Slytherin so that he can pass his classes and return to playing Quidditch. A short Elsa/Jack story at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. |
