27 January 2008 -- My dear readers! If you are reading this and are frustrated by the lack of updates in the gasp five months or so, it is time to rejoice! I have just finished typing up the rough draft of chapter twenty and will start the revision process fairly soon. I apologize for stopping this lovely story and starving you for more chapters. In the past months, there have been several attempts to write but my muse had ditched me. Hopefully my muse will stay for a considerable amount of time :).

I have been taking a proverbial stroll through the world of Holmesian fanfiction lately and there are few stories that I really love but there's a lot of...um, how should I say this...less than favorable depictions of the great detective here. I've been wondering if I could make a sort of haven for Holmes stories of great calibre that can get lost in the shuffle of unrealistic portrayals of Holmes and the numerous Mary Sues. If anyone's interested, let me know.
