![]() Author has written 7 stories for A.T.O.M, and Pokémon. My work with A.T.O.M: I can proudly say that I was the first to create an A.T.O.M fan fiction, and coined the term Sharkness for SharkxLioness relationships, although I doubt it is still in use today. I rewrote my first fan fiction after several years when my style began to mature. I could probably rewrite it again, but that's a never ending cycle so I'll leave it be. My history with Pokemon: I am an original Pokemon fan. I watched the show from its first season and trailed off as I got older. I've seen a good number of the movies and appreciate the first few the most. I own and played several of the gameboy/DS/3DS games. My favorite is Pokemon silver/crystal/soul silver and it is where I draw most of my inspiration. I keep to the basics and don't follow any concepts from Mega Evolutions on. As such, my fan fictions deal with generations 1-3, although I'll probably expand for future works. I have several more fanfictions I'd like to write in the pokemon universe but I'm torn between working on them and working on other novels that might actually get me published. Whichever way I turn, it will be years in the making. H.O.T.T. Ranger: I started writing "Heart of the Trainer: Ranger" before X/Y and Pokemon Origins came out. They re-inspired me and I fell in love with the Pokemon world all over again. I wrote this story with all of my heart and soul so I fell in love with every character and concept. It took about four years from conception to completion. My goal with this story was to appeal to the older fans who grew up wishing they could be a part of the Pokemon universe. I wanted to show the real issues that the tv show would not address. And in that world, I created my own. You'll see knew concepts, legends, lore, and theories that do not exist in the games/shows. This story's completion marked a new starting point in my life and I will forever hold it dear to my heart. There are two songs that I will always attribute to this story and the inspiration I received from them. The first: "Adrenalize" by In This Moment for anything Sebastian related (explicit). The second: "Say Something" by A Great Big World for anything Styx and Aria. I encourage you to listen to them. H.O.T.T. Champion: I call it a sequel to H.O.T.T. Ranger only because it contains some of the same characters and all of the lore. In fact, I feel like it really fleshed out the lore regarding Rangers and Legendary pokemon and set a baseline for some amazing concepts that I'd like to expound upon in upcoming works. It took about two years to write the first draft and post the last chapter. Originally, the story was supposed to align much closer to "H.O.T.T. Ranger" but somehow it morphed into its own thing and I love what it's become. There were several songs I used for inspiration while writing but none so much as "Playing with the Big Boys" cover by Johnathan Young for anything Lopo related. H.O.T.T. Zapdos: My current work in progress. It's a stand alone story that tells of the origin story of the pokemon ranger that would become the legendary pokemon Zapdos. If I've lost you already, I recommend reading "H.O.T.T Ranger" and "H.O.T.T. Champion". You don't actually have to read them in order to enjoy "Zapdos" but you might miss out on a few things if you don't have a background in the pokemon ranger universe I created. My approach to this story is different than the others. I'm creating it chapter by chapter and posting as I go. It is much more fast paced and aggressive, styling itself in a way I haven't quite perfected yet but really want to explore. So please forgive me if the story does not run as smoothly as the others and contains more mistakes. I'll try my best to catch them like an ace (Ha! Puns.). Happy reading and thank you to everyone who has given my stories even the briefest of glances. |
