Both were traditionally published, yet when I wrote my new novel, 'Mixed Spirits' I was told by literary agents and publishers in my country that there was no demand for Australian horror. Bull. Shit.

As a girl, my grandmother supported herself by working in a bar, and on the side, cleansed houses of bad energy. My story is loosely based on a modernised version of her life, and how terrifyingly easy we can attract evil and demonic presences into our own everyday life.
