Author has written 14 stories for Animorphs, Harry Potter, and StarTrek: Enterprise. Okay. So I got a review for Awake, right? And was momentarily terrified to read it, because I feared it would say, "God, that was crap." Wasn't that bad. Which I'm thankful for. But! It did urge me to update my profile. Yay for me. The chances of me writing fanfiction again are, at the moment, slim. I still have Realities FINISHED, but y'know what? Too lazy to post it. And despite having several other WIP, I'm jaded towards Star Trek. So. Very. Jaded. So the chances of me completing anything to do with Enterprise... slimmer than slim. Still, despite my loathing towards Enterprise and my lack of interest in fanfiction and my hate towards my previous work... it's staying up. Why, you ask? Because I'm too lazy to delete them. That would require me saving all the stories, which means I have to actually open them up. And they're such crap, I'm scared to. Yes, I am hard on my work. . So if you feel the OVERWHELMING urge to read this stuff, here's a rundown: Don't bother with the one Harry Potter fic. It's worse than the rest of my older stuff. It's horrid. Animorphs... okay, remember I wrote them when I was 11? 12? Preteen. The plots are a little confusing in some. Not much detail, etcetc. But I did always enjoy Choices of a Leader and The Reality. Almost considered rewriting The Reality to a shinier, newer model. Awake made me find Marco/Rachel shippage attractive. The time one is just crap. If you choose to read any of them, just remember: I write a little better now. Star Trek... okay, again, I was about 12 when I started. Suns of Kaelyn VII is crap, complete with a Mary Sue named after me. I later learned, in From the Future, to make an already established character Mary Sue-like. So also, From the Future... bad. Bad plot. Many, many plotholes. Like Father also has many plotholes. Bad characterization. And a bad ending. I don't suggest reading either of them. Three is One Too Many I always liked. But, FFN deleted the prequel, I assume because of too many wordy dirties. So you might be confused as to what is happening. Trip is also extremely mean. And other characterization issues. Also, cookies to the person who noticed which scene was ripped off COMPLETELY from another sci-fi series. And let me tell you: I'll rip that scene off again, I love it so much. Don't remember much about Remarkable. It's probably decent. Sweet Sixteen is... eh, okay. Just Friends was my break out M/S piece, I think. I liked that one. Wrote another chapter from Hoshi's POV... never finished. Also have a never finished WIP all about Travis longing for dear Hoshi. This was before I watched the last few episodes of Enterprise, realized Anthony Montgomery's acting skills are ... mediocre and went back to rooting for R/S. Yeah. I'm fickle. Realities starts off with some plot and writing issues. I think it gets better as it goes along. Mostly the best stuff? What I haven't posted. That's sad, isn't it? I know it's there... and you'll never read it. Let's see if I can unlazy myself one of these days. Equipment Logs was my favorite of 'em all. Never finished that, either. I only got the UT and the transporter - and they freaking RUINED the transporter on ENT by making it fun for the whole family to use. I spit on you, pah. I also wrote, and never posted, T'Pol's viewer. And had plans for a peace-loving torpedo/torpedo launcher/phase cannon/something shot at things. And the warp core. But alas! There's that laziness. . And that's about it. You have the author's harsh reviews of her own work, when she hasn't read any of it in YEARS. You have been warned to the Crap (notice the capital C) you may inflict upon yourself if you read most of these. If I ever write fanfic again... it'll probably be Battlestar Galactica... but even that's doubtful at this point... |
