Five months after the death of Jason, Bruce is still reeling from the loss. Barbra thinks he might even be dangerous and convinces Dick to take the weekend off and make the trip home from Blüdhaven. Dick agrees, but a terrible storm halts all travel plans. Power is knocked out and communications are down, but the storm doesn't stop one chilling call from coming through.

"Dick's chest is expanding and deflating, if only ever so slightly, and when Bruce checks, there's a pulse. The odd thing, though, is that Dick's eyes are wide open, staring sightlessly into the middle-distance, and Bruce realizes that wherever Dick is right now, it isn't here." Or: Bruce just wants Dick to come back to him.

Tim is the only one who knows that Bruce is still alive.

Twelve year old Dick Grayson is Bruce Wayne's ward and Batman's Robin. Thirteen year old Jason Todd comes along and threatens all he holds dear. They will either become brothers or kill each other. Robins slight reverse age AU

The people whispered what a great older brother he was with grades, interest in sports and a flawless reputation. A real golden boy and he, Jason, had been sick of it. It was as if he lived constantly in his shadow and he had been sick of it, so he had found a solution, just a little vice to shove the perfect child of his pedestal. A small bag of mrijuana in his backpack.

When Nightwing comes out of retirement for 'one last mission', things go horribly wrong and Dick Grayson has to find out who is targeting the Bat-Family before they are all killed. (Note: This is in my Dead Robinverse, where Tim Drake is currently Robin and Jason Todd stayed dead.)

[Act 5] A silent moment passed while Bruce just stood there. Jason had to resist the sudden urge to shift uncomfortably when suddenly Bruce tore his eyes away from his eldest and fixed them on the ground. The move was so un-Batman like, that it made Jason freeze.

A clatter echoed throughout the Batcave as the brush dropped from Dick's hand, bats squeaking in protest at the sudden burst of noise. Dick turned to face his mentor, his normally bright blue eyes full of horror and fear. "I...I almost died." (After the events of Performance, it suddenly hit Robin just how close he had come to following in his parents' footsteps.)

As the ward to Gotham's sole billionaire, Dick Grayson gets kidnapped a lot, but he's gotten used to it over the years.

Grayson gave him a mischievous grin, falling back into the armchair. "I'll get you to say those three little words yet, Dami. It's on my bucket list." Damian snorted. "Tt. You're an idiot, Grayson." — Damian didn't know why he was thinking about that particular moment as the gun went off, catching the stomach of the man that had leapt into the bullet's path: right for Damian.

Robin is trapped. Can't move. A little broken bird, wings pinned. It's a good time to decide who needs to be saved, and who needs to pretend they don't exist. A one-shot with a touch of hurt-comfort, a touch of Daddy!Bats and a lot of introspection from our Boy Wonder. (No character death).

In a mission gone wrong, Robin finds himself being forcefully interrogated under...influence. "Now, you're probably wondering why we haven't just yanked your mask off and been done with this whole thing, hmm? It's because this way is so much more fun."

A seemingly harmless movie night turns sour as a certain scene of the Lion King falls a little too close to home for a certain Boy Wonder.

Nothing matters more than family to Dick Grayson. After an accident Dick wakes up in an unfamiliar place, and his world is turned upside down. Can his family save him before he loses his mind, or has Dick already gone mad without even knowing it?

Nightwing (Dick) is injured; but luckily Robin (Jason) is there to aid him; but Jason's acting weird, and... and is Bruce (Batman) crying? Something is wrong, very wrong; and when everything is revealed, nothing will ever make sense again. One-shot.

Five times Batman let it go, and the one time he didn't. Robin chuckled darkly, not a hint of his usual good humor lacing his tone. "And of course it had to happen today. Of all days."

Bruce takes a young Dick Grayson to get his routine vaccinations for school, with less than typical results.

He glared at his mentor, opening his mouth with the intention of yelling at him for leaving the galaxy, wanting to tell him just how much he'd been through, about the impossible decisions he had to make that ended in the death of his best friend. Instead, all that escaped was a hoarse whisper, in a voice that didn't even sound his own: "I never got to say goodbye."

Those who know Batman always talk about the big changes that happened when Robin came along. They don't give much thought to the little changes. But maybe they should, because maybe the little changes are what really mattered most.

"What did you mean back there?" Wonder Woman demanded. Batman's eyes narrowed behind his cowl. "Mean by what?" "About Robin. What did you mean by 'so that he wouldn't?"

Patrolling in the darkness, Batman reflects on the city landscape and its fall into ruin. Robin reminds him that not everything in Gotham is bleak.

Earth is being destroyed by a another world. Batman and his team travel to the alien world. With time running out, and Nightwing missing in action, Batman realized that to save the rest of his team and Earth, he must leave his eldest son to die.

Robin dies.
