One galaxy, two Shepards; their lives will never be the same again. With the Collectors defeated, John Shepard is about head back through the Omega 4 relay when the unthinkable happens and he and his crew are suddenly teleported back to Virmire. Once there, they stumble upon the Normandy SR-1 and he soon finds out that there's a Jane Shepard in charge and nothing is as it seems.

Sequel to Unprepared, set three years after the end. Having retired from the Alliance, Shepard is doing all she can to care for her turian-human child, but with the galaxy still in shambles after the end of the Reaper War, she is finding it far more difficult than she ever imagined.

Shepard chose to end the cycle and destroy the Reapers, but what did they take with them, and what should she do now that they're gone? She wakes in a med bay, completely alone, unrecognizable, and living in a universe whose state is similar to her own - a shadow of what it once was.

Shepard has one last chance at life. Without galaxy-ending events sucking Shepard in, she has to do something that she has long since feared; facing her own feelings in all aspects of her life. The loss of her loved ones, her life altering choices and even her own death. Twice fold. And people wanting to collect on their investment. Post ME3.

A deliberate attempt to give us "control" choosers a chance at something more. If you chose to save EDI and the Geth, you shouldn't be punished. And neither should a certain Commander.
