Something that Naruto writers should avoid:

I cannot tell you how poor these fanfictions are. With such a terrible beginning the rest of the story loses, in my opinion, everything that could have made it good or even great. I am talking about stories where a child Naruto is running away from a mob and he falls or a kunai will hit him and he is beaten and tortured. He then falls into his mindscape and meets Kurama and before falling into despair saying 'I really am a demon' after which Kurama would comfort him and assure him that he is not a demon. Some stories even have some stranger rescue him and whisk him away from the village so he could return for his genin exam. Ugh. Here are a few points against these stories:

1) He is a child. He couldn't run away from adults for anywhere near as long as these fics says he does. Even if he could he could escape from adults sometimes there are shinobi in the mobs (which is bullshit on its own). It would take a few seconds at most for them to catch him not hours.

2) There is no way a mob would form in the first place. I can accept an occasional drunk venting his anger on Naruto but a mob? The Hokage would never allow it to happen and nearby shinobi would intervene. A jinchuriki is too useful to let a mob have their way with them.

3) Naruto always stays conscious for a couple of hours into the beating. He is a child he can't have that sort of pain tolerance, jinchuriki or not. If is still conscious at least give a good reason for it.

4) Naruto manages to survive all of his wounds despite a couple hour beating with all sorts of weapons hitting and stabbing him and is fine the next day. Jinchuriki he may be but he shouldn't have survived the physical trauma or the various stab wound that have apparently been afflicted on him. He certainly needed a few weeks in hospital, there is a limit to what Kurama can do without Naruto actively drawing upon his chakra.

5) When in his mindscape, Naruto can clearly see that Kurama is a different entity from himself so why does he always say 'I really am a demon'. I know that Naruto is a kid but come on!

6) Kurama acts nice. Yeah not happening. At that point Kurama is a being of hatred. He doesn't even get along with his siblings so he certainly wouldn't act friendly with a human especially his prison. I find the 180 he pulled in the manga bullshit because that happened in less than a day, him being nice straight off the bat? No. Way.

7) Someone whisks him away. Three questions. Why? They are complete strangers. I don't have enough faith in humanity to believe that someone would practically adopt a complete stranger. How? How did they sneak out of the strongest shinobi village. The stranger I could understand but not Naruto. That's not even thinking bout Sarutobi agreeing to let Naruto go. Just no. Why? Why would Naruto come back? Why would the stranger let them? I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!

Just ugh!!!

MAN LAW

5.) If you have known a guy for more than twenty four hours, his sister is off limits unless you actually marry her.

6.) Moaning about the brand of beer in a bud's fridge is forbidden. However complain at will if temperature is unsuitable.

7.) No man shall ever be required to buy a man a present for another man. In fact, even remembering your buddy's birthday is strictly optional. At that point, you must celebrate at a strip bar of the birthday boy's choice.

8.) On a road trip,the strongest bladder determines pit stops, not the weakest.

9.) When stumbling upon other guys watching sports, you may ask the score, but not who's playing.

10.) You may flatulate in front of a woman only after you bought her to a climax, if you trap her head under a pillow for the sake of flatulent entertainment, she's officially your girlfriend.

11.) It is premissable to drink a fruity alcohol drink only you're on sunning on a tropical beach...and its delivered by a topless mode land only when its free.

12.) Only in moral and/or physical situations are you allowed to kick another man in the nuts.
