One day, two mikos were calmly (uh, we're fangirls, do we do anything calmly at a convention?)walking around Anime North, when one girl politely approached the other girl, who was cosplaying, for a picture. Through some talkings the two became funky, cool friends, and discovered they were both mikos, Digimon mikos. Well, when the two mikos (and bunch of miko-wannabes) walked through the crowd, later that day in search of pizza, the two happened to step in some nasty vile liquid, known as Chemical X!! (I think it was chewing gum to be honest) From then on, they've been known as.. THE MIGHTY MIKOS!
