Over the years, I've always thought how much it pisses me off when an author says, "Give me twenty (or fifty, pick a number) reviews or I won't write the next chapter." I always think, "Even for a good story, I would never review that author." Because I believe that if you're writing for the ego it gives you, then... You're writing for a reason that makes me feel very sad. I think that writing should be done for pleasure. I don't want to think that something I enjoy reading was written out of greed. So I've always looked down on authors who do this

But recently I read the comments of an author who said, "I will always finish what I start, for that is my author's nindo." (Or something like that. For the exact quote, read his(?) fanfic, A Mother's Love by lord of the land of fire.) And so far it seems he really intends to live up to that

And I thought. And thought. And... As it turns out, I should look down on myself. While it's my prerogative to start or end a story as I choose, once I post it here, where other people can read it, it becomes my obligation to finish. Once it's here, it's no longer just mine. It belongs to everyone who reads it and enjoys it. I have not fulfilled my obligations at all

And so, I have begun work on finishing Slay Me, which seems to have the most people waiting for me to finish. Maybe you've already given up on me, but... I'll finish it. And then I'll return to Uzumaki Winter. I originally wanted to wait until Naruto finished, but it's already clear that this will have to branch off far earlier than I intended. From there, I want to finish Eclipse, my original story hosted at s13.invisionfree.com/Otaku_Heaven. But I'll continue to try to work my way through the list, revising and finishing, until I've done as much as I can

And then I have two new stories I intend to write. One Naruto and one Battle Royal.
