It made me think how similar that rose was to love. If one must feel excruciating pain to know immense joy, then every rose has its thorn.

Desperate for Christine's Love, Erik follows her to the cemetery to confess his undying feelings towards her. Betrayed by his angel, 5 years later Christine returns to Erik desperate for his help. When the Mob finds Erik, they come promising to put the Phantom's life to a tragic end. Three years later, Christine applies for a housekeeping job at the home of Phantasma's owner, Mister E... When she realizes who her employer is, she confronts him. Only...He doesn't remember her or anything about the Paris Opera House. Can Christine stir his memory? E/C as always

When Christine turned 18, she did just that...With the help of the Opera's owner, Nadir Khan, Christine finds love in her new home. But nothing could prepare her for the day when she came face to face with the house's manager... E/C as always.

Three years have gone by since the fire at the Paris Opera Populaire and Christine Daae is now married to Raoul. Life is far from the marital bliss she expected. Meanwhile, Erik is finally starting to live again after his friend Nadir revived him and gave him the courage to live. A surprise meeting between Christine and her Angel, however, could change everything...

What if Erik had been more honest with Christine? What if he had acted quicker? What if Christines father didnt simply die of illness but was murdered? What if Christine didnt remember Raoul as much as he would like? A different retelling of the story with more twists along the way. Kay/Kopit/ALW/Leruox influences. E/C eventually.
