Ichigo Kurosaki finds himself being stuck in the middle of an ongoing traffic jam. Taking days to move a single mile, Ichigo has to learn how to survive in his truck while taking care of his 6 year old daughter. To do so, he puts his trust in a stranger.

One Halloween night, they share an encounter in the most unlikely of places. When fate brings them together again, however, he wants nothing to do with her. He'll soon find that keeping a certain raven-haired woman from winding her way into his heart is a lot harder than it looks. And she will realize that behind his brazen attitude, he hides more than just a caring soul.
