Summary: Back on the helicarrier, the weapons weren't the only thing Nick Fury was hiding. There was also a girl - a teenager. Not a normal one, though. Samantha was forced to become part of the Avengers, but her impact on the team was so much greater than anyone could have imagined. She ended up changing the heroes' lives - whether they wanted it or not. Basically, it's about a girl with superpowers who is forced to join the Avengers (it takes place during the movie). She ends up having an immense effect on all the heroes, and she unknowingly changes their lives and the people they are.
A/N: This is the prequel to my trilogy (so it's shorter than the other stories will be). There won't actually be much STEVExOC (Sam) romance in this story - they'll just be friends. But in the sequel, they'll start falling for each other - you know, all that stuff. The reason is because I want their relationship to be believable, and I want to fully develop each and every character. They'll go through character changes throughout the course of the story, and they'll become round and dynamic. I also don't want Sam and Steve to fall in love overnight X_X As I said, I want things to be believable.
