In response to a challenge from the Batman Writers Unite FB page: Write a 1-shot of a conversation that happened between Batman and Joker sometime after Joker had killed Robin (Jason Todd). This is my response. Stand-Alone story.

It is 8-yr-old Dick's first Christmas in the manor. Unfortunately, it is also his first since his parents died less than 3 months ago. So, what does one get a newly-orphaned boy for Christmas? Who better to figure that out than Bruce Wayne? Some Language. (#7 in the "Young Dick Grayson" series.)

Why Robin never patrols on Halloween . . . Ever! (9 yr old Dick Grayson. The 9th in the "YDG" series) T for Some Disturbing and Graphic Imagery, Some Language. This fits in between "Fathers and Sons" and "Dry Clean Only". (I was shooting for both fun and creepy in this. You'll have to tell me if I succeeded or not.)

She wasn't perfect, just perfect for him. Dick's new girlfriend is really something special, but that little fact turns out to be a surprise to her as well. Love & laughter follow. AU. This uncomfortable collection of nightmares has yet to receive their own stories. I may write them later, or not. Although these begin with Dick, I will post bad dreams from the entire Bat Family, even Alfred's. Some are short; some not so much. I will add to them periodically. Lab Rat sequel: Robin faces off with the villain who left a deadly trigger in his mind, nearly ending both the Boy Wonder & his team as a result. I wish I owned this. If I did, this would be canon.

Normally, he would use rats to test his serum's effects, but after his most recent acquisition, Dr. Crane has discovered the value of using birds - A young Robin specifically.
