We are the fanfic popos. The Po-lice. Ok, so we are not working for fanfiction.net or anything. We just are tired of seeing cliched, horribly spelled, Sue-y mishaps you call stories. While our reviews may seem harsh at times, we mean them all with the best intentions. We'll tell it like it is. And if you are offended, sorry about that. The truth heals, however. And with our critiques come pointers and support. We would love to help you as much as we can, but still give you room to develop your story and your skills on your own.

Alright. So you may be thinking; "Well, how can you critique someone else's work when you don't have any stories posted? Let's see you do better!"

While that is a good point, it's not good enough. Think of it like this: have you ever made a movie? Have you ever acted on stage? Have you been a recording artist? Or wrote a published novel? No? Oh... well do you still critique those kinds of things? Have you ever said "I don't like Justin Bieber because (insert reason)", or "That movie sucks because yada-yada-yada." Yes. You probably have. And you're allowed to do that. Because you're a human being, and you are the audience. Someone puts their work out there, so that someone should also be prepared for some feedback of the negative sorts. We don't have to put a story out there to know what a good story VS a bad story is. Just like how you may have never been in and/or made a movie to know what a bad or good movie is.

No matter how much work you put into something, no matter how good it actually may be, not everyone is going to like it. That's just how humans work. You put it out there, you accept the positive and negative of it. Now, we're not saying every review we leave will be negative. Far from it. While we do point out the flaws, we also praise. Your stuff just has to actually be good in order to receive that praise. We do not sugar coat here.
