As many of you might have noticed, the vast majority of my stories aren't very...kid friendly. For a list of the what dark material, and the light that shines through, lies in each of my fics, or is the topic of a series, see below the explanation of why I write them this way. The list starts with Amulet of Truth.

There is a darkness about my work, whether physical or emotional, but usually a combination of both. These stories have come from my battle with Bipolar Disorder, my Asperger's, and everything in between. I might be a Christian, but I'm a realistic one. Not all of life is happy and cheery. Depression is a real thing you can't just 'pray away.' I write these stories to help both myself and those that might need them. I write them because it helps me feel better, both while writing them, and when I read them, even when I get into my moods.

I want people to enjoy them and be helped by them. Reviews are great and all, but helping others is more important to me. I know how I get, how it can be, and I want to help as much as possible. Enjoy them. Please. They remind me personally that there are other problems out there. That there is a dark place that each of us visits from time to time, but that some are prevented from getting out of. My stories help me get out of my depression, my darkness, and remind me that there is light. Because all of my stories have happier endings than beginnings.

As the Soothsayer from Kung Fu Panda said, "Your story may not have such a happy beginning, but that doesn't make you who you are. It is the rest of your story, who you choose to be." I agree.

I love cartoons. I do. Look below if you don't believe me. :P I love movies like 'Lord of the Rings'. They help me to come to terms with things. I see others journey through hard times, and it helps me. But I can help me better by channeling those well-known characters through journeys of my own making. Like Sam in Side Effects and Dark Secrets. Or Monkey in Blood Money. Or Ice King getting back to Simon like in my Adventure Time story. Yes, they may seem silly. Yes, they might not be cannon. They'll never be on the wikis. They'll never become movies or TV shows. They'll never be any of that. But they can make a difference. If they help nobody else in this world, they help me. They help me get through my thoughts, my depression, my feelings. They help me channel it into something better. They give me something to do so I don't put a bullet in my brain or OD on my medication. I wouldn't do the second one anyway. You can survive that. I know. I've done my research.

I have many interests now. I do. I have seventy-five stories spread over thirty categories, and those are the published ones. I have more stories on the back burner. I'm not going to stop writing. I've gotten better and better with each story. It is most evident if you read 'Sides Effects'. Something happened between the opening chapter and the closing chapter. I want to redo the first half of that story, but I'm reluctant. I grew there, and you can see it. And it is still my most popular story. Like, ever. Only one that comes close is 'Dark Secrets'. I'm hoping that 'Paradox' does well, too. But it's in a little known Transformers series, so it probably won't.

I think this is enough for now. If you have a request from a category of mine, I'll listen, but I decide if I will do something or not. If I know the series/movie, but don't have anything up yet, ask me. Yes, I know you don't know what I know and what I don't, but still don't hesitate to ask. You might introduce me to a new interest. Read all you like, review if you want. And if you think my stories could help somebody, don't hesitate to tell them. Because maybe they're in a darkness that you can't comprehend. Instead of just attempting to crawling down there or shouting advice, offer a little light. Tell them that somebody understands, even if you don't. It could help.

Enjoy the darkness, because they all turn out to shine brighter at the end because of it. :)

Something of interest is that I have started a YouTube channel where I read my fanfiction out loud. It's going to be slow getting started, but I'll mark which ones I'm putting up. My username is the same, Transformersfan123, and the first story I'm doing is Memories and Magic.

Bao-Haizi: Drunken abuse and how you can still be cared for by those who have compassion on you.

Beauty and Beast: Everybody has them, but finding the range of a person's characteristics is quite the adventure. It might be hard, but overall, its worth it.

Black and Red: Not being understood by others, and how a person is more important than you think.

Blood Money: How other people's bad decisions can ruin your life, but how it can still turn into something good.

Book of Spells: Changing what you look like doesn't change who you are or who your family is. It doesn't solve your problems. It only pushes them back. Talking, on the other hand, just might solve your problems, but that doesn't mean it's easy. Sometimes you fear they won't understand. But who knows unless you talk?

Brothers: How keeping important things inside can actually harm you, physically and otherwise, and how people can benefit from honest communication.

Color and Shadow: Children's cruelty knows no bounds. To a strange boy in a strange land, another strange person can be a life-saver. But that doesn't always stop you from lashing out...then having to live with the consequences. The question remains, should you trust your friends and family with what you've done?

Crossroads of Destiny: When past meets present, memories can come up. As painful as they can be, letting a friend help you through it can help both of you grow and learn.

Cursing: You can foul-mouth somebody, and though you may be punished, they will still love you.

Daddy's Hands: When family comes home, it's always a merry occasion. And you shouldn't discredit somebody just because they annoy you.

Dark Secrets: Mental, Emotional, and Physical abuse, plus what happens to a person who suffers it.

Elf Blood: The bond between brothers is unbreakable, no matter what secrets you hide.

Fear: Friends can come from anywhere, have any past, and wear any face.

Female: Just because you're female doesn't mean you're worthless. In fact, it gives you a lot of worth, most of which you don't even realize.

Freak: A single word can make a big difference in someone's life. It sometimes takes many kind words to undo a single thoughtless one.

Growing Pains: The pain of being a teenager when all around you are older, and how an unexpected wish, or prayer, can lead to places you never thought of.

Halfling series: Yes, they can physically abuse you, make you and your sibling do things you are ashamed of, make you build up walls to all authority figures, but one single kind soul can see past the scars to the real you and work to nurture it and bring it back out if you'll only give them the chance.

How It All Began: Even if a leader is 'cool' or powerful now, there is always a humble beginning. Kindness can come from anywhere at anytime, along with a friendly ear. Even if you were a prostitute, or a murderer, or just somebody who doesn't fit in, there is somebody who will listen to you, and who will strive to understand your pain and struggle. Maybe you just haven't found them yet...

Hysteria: There is always a breaking point, but your family can help to bring down the hysteria.

I Am Moana: Love can outshine everything, even if you're chosen for something big. It just might take awhile to get there.

Immortals: A fun story about how the bond between friends never really disappears.

Inside Out series: A glance into the emotions when faced with different mental illnesses.

Introductions: A light story of meeting friends and weathering life's unexpected storms.

Leadership: You can change people's perspective of you if you're willing to change yourself, in good ways, of course.

Little Brothers: A father's love means he will do anything, anything for his children. Dying for them. Protecting them. No matter how red the coat gets.

Masked Insecurity: You can hide your vulnerability behind a mask, but it will come off eventually.

Memories and Magic: The past has such an effect of who you are, and holding back can be too much. Friendship is a magic all its own, and can heal you, even if it can't change what happened.

Monkeys and Panthers: You can find a friendly ear, or even a best friend, in very unexpected ways. Even if you fight, you love each other deeply, and will always come back.

Moving On: The pain of change, and the serious issue of cutting to relieve emotional pain. Or to just feel anything. They care. They do. Just tell them, even if it stings to speak on the issue.

My Little Smurf: Being enslaved to a person, in any way, and the consequences of growing up in a wrong environment. But your Father will always love you, and be there when you need Him. This one in particular deals with mentions-in-passing of sexual abuse. You are warned.

Old Wounds, New Scars: Even when all hope seems lost, friends can help you get through the hard times. But you must face the consequences of your actions, even if it's painful. But the truth is best for all.

Pain of the Past: Your family can love you despite the past that has left its scars, be them sexual, emotional, or physical. And the truth will come out eventually, in one way or another. Don't you think you should trust them? This fic does NOT deal with sexual abuse in any way, shape, or form. It deals with physical scars and trust issues.

Paradox: Deals with physical change, and what can happen to friendships with one single action. The bond between brothers is also dealt with, as is just friendship in general.

Past Woes: Tension between a father and a son, and the pain of secrets being kept. But the friends and family that truly love you will be there for you no matter what. This one also mentions sexual abuse.

Perspective: Sometimes people have different perspectives on the same events. It's good to listen to the different sides to get the complete picture.

Rekindling Warmth: Friendships never truly die. Not with all the good memories. Sometimes thinking of others instead of yourself can do you wonders. And second chances should be granted with true repentance.

Relic Keeper: Old wounds can fester if you don't talk about it. Sometimes you just need a little push to get back on the right path.

Ricolance: The pain of the past can hurt deeply, and revenge doesn't always help. Family does, though.

Roots: Being true friends is important, and new and old friends can be brought together in the right circumstances. This also deals with the addicting power of cutting, and how to work to overcome it. That's right. Because it takes work. It isn't easy. You can't just 'stop it'. Need proof? Ask a person who used to smoke a pack a day how 'easy' it was to stop smoking. Got the answer? Now apply it here.

Scars series: Your past can leave you scarred, physically, mentally, emotionally, but with the right people around you, you can overcome them. They won't go away, that's why they're scars, not wounds, but you can learn to live with them, or even better, thrive with them.

Secretly Dating: This fic is more light-hearted than most of mine. It deals mainly with the peer pressure faced when you do something your friends don't agree with, along with some physical abuse mentions.

Secrets of Ice and Snow: When your friends offer to help you, you should take it. But that doesn't stop every form of cruelty, and the wounds you bear from before aren't just going to go away. You must talk. Sooner or later, you must talk.

Side Effects: A story dealing with change, particularly physical and, though unrealistic, its base holds true. When you've been gone for a while and you aren't who your family and friends remember, there is temptation to pretend you are the old you, if you can't just pretend to be somebody else. Will they understand?

Simon: Some people feel like they're screaming inside of their own skull with nobody to hear them but that dark little voice that tells you nobody will care. They act like somebody completely different than what is at their core. Simon has this problem. Literally. He's also the Ice King, who he has very little control over. But the right person can break the ice cage around the mind and bring out the true beauty of the person inside.

Song of the Soul: Finding a new talent is good. Finding somebody who'll help nourish your talents is better. Having your friends/family finally come to realize your worth as a person? Priceless.

Soulmates: Finding a hidden heritage is interesting, but frightening. And when you're facing death from past wounds, you need friends, close friends, to help you through it. But will your family understand? And what about generations of misunderstanding and loathing?

Storms of Life: Hiding a part of who you are, especially a really big part, is difficult. What happens when that part of you is shown to everybody else? Can friendship stand with such a big secret? Mentions of abuse.

Switch: I don't know where to put this one. This is more of an enjoyment fic then a serious one. I think the only one I have to date. It does contain corporal punishment, however. If you need a lesson? Children should be careful if they take something that isn't theirs, and adults should listen to the whole story before reacting.

Terrel Seabrook Peele: Sometimes a story doesn't have quite the ending, or in fact the beginning, that you think.

The Great Morty: Even if it's not perfect, it can be enough.

The Great Shadow: Darkness can seem overwhelming at times, but light can always disperse it. Sometimes that light comes in the form of old friends.

The Panthers' Prodigy: Contains brief mentions of physical abuse and drunkenness. But help can come from unexpected places. As well as family.

The Scientist: Family runs deeper than disaster, even if you did cause the end of humanity.

The Start of a Blayze: Family can beat and abuse you. Stand tall and make your own path if your family's is darker than you like. You are not them. You don't have to be.

To Stay: You are made for great things, no matter if chosen by Primus or not. Yes, the journey can be painful, but the end result is breathtaking. Because you survived the pressure, you are now a diamond. Deals with Sam's continuation of cutting from Moving On.

True Fusion: Life can throw terrible things at you, but true friendship can overcome it all.

Trust: Trusting can be hard, but if your trust is well placed, you can have friends you didn't think was possible.

Under the Hat: Your past can creep up on you, but with the right friends and equipment, you can face it down and send it back where it belongs. And maybe something new can spring up. Deals heavily with scars from physical abuse, and mentions other character murder and suicide, not of the main cast.

What If?: How important can one person be? Answer: More than you think.

Yakko's Curse: You can't choose all the memories in your head. And you, not the ones who caused it, you yourself have to deal with the consequences. But you can survive it. With a little help.

Yet Here I Sit: One of my outright dark ones. Contains heavy, heavy talk of suicide, and acting with the intent of committing suicide. But relief can come from unexpected sources. You don't have to pull the trigger. Somebody might miss you.
