 Author has written 22 stories for Castle. English. Love Castle. I don't own anything Castle related apart from DVDs and the episodes on my iTunes. I will always write in English not American English. For example crib (rather than cot) has a different meaning to me further Mum (Mummy) was only changed because when Americans say it, it came out more like Mom (Mommy) hence it was changed. In the UK (and many other English speaking countries) college is different from university. When I write in French or German, I use what they would typically call things not change it so that matched what the Americans would use so why for English.
