I am going to start an Avatar: The Last Airbender story. I got the idea of a modern story.

Toph: Main Character. Skateboarder. Hates school and this sea-side towns resident runaway.She refuses to give out her last name and instead has her last name be Terra. Enrolled at a public school by her friends, she is head-strong and often picks fights. More of a tomboy, she enjoys music and painting. Since she is blind on her left eye she often falls and trips when something comes her way from that side. Toph is 14. She is called Bright-Eye by Mai obviously pointing out her left blind eye.

Aang Zephyr: Toph's best friend. A runner for the school track team, he is dubbed by Toph Twinkle-Toes. He is the fastest runner in the county. He is passive and a peace-maker. He dislikes arguments and is a vegetarian. He isn't often seen without his German Shepard Appa, whom he had since Appa was a puppy. He likes to run and hang-glide. He has tattoos on his hands of blue arrows. He is the only surviving member of the Zephyr Family. Who were once prominent in the county. His entire family perished in a fire when he was seven and his the last of his Family. Aang is now 14.

Katara Undine: Toph's best female friend. She is one of the best surfers around and swims for the school team. Dubbed Sugar-Queen, she is a motherly person. She likes to sing and dance. She is one of the hottest girls in the school and often has an admirer or two around. Her Father is a City-Council Man. She is 15 and has one older brother name Sokka.

Zuko Pyro: He is the son of the Towns Mayor and has a rebellious streak. He is the eldest son of the Town's Mayor and the family's disgrace. He was supposed to be the heir to the Pryo Estates but is now disowned. He lives with his Uncle on the rougher side of town. He has one younger sister named Azula who is the family's pride and joy. He is 16 and is dubbed Sparky by Toph, he has a motorcycle.

Sokka Undine: Katara's protective older brother. He is a baseball player but enjoy's surfing and swimming. Dubbed Snozzles by Toph he is lazy, but has a mathematical mind. He is good in math and science, but is mediocre in other subjects. He wants to be a big man in the town like his father and dreams of going into the Marines like his father did. He is 16.

Suki Kyoshi: Suki is in Zuko and Sokka's class at a school. She is in the local Hip-Hop dance group the 'Fan Warriors'. She always rises to a challenge and often butts heads with Katara. She is headstrong and tough. Her nickname given by Toph is Unagi. Toph calls her this because she works as an animal feeder at the local aquarium and her favorite fish there is and Unagi.

Azula Pyro: Zuko's younger sister. She is in Katara's class and is a b*h. Runs with the popular crowd she is her father's favorite child. Spoiled and often violent, she dislikes Zuko and his friends and often goes out of her way to attack them emotionally and physically. She is also one of Toph rivals in the Skater World. He best friends are Mai and Tylee. Toph's nickname for her is Psycho.

Ty-Lee Cirque: Gymnastic prodigy. Ty-lee is the youngest daughter of six older sisters. He father is close friends with Azula's Father and they grew up together. Toph's nickname for her is Splits.

Mai Saxon: Oldest Daughter of a city-council man, she is close friends with Azula and Ty-lee. She had a crush on Zuko but refuses to admit it. Gloomy and angsty she is dubbed (sarcastically) Sunshine by Toph. While Mai also calls her Bright-Eye.
