![]() Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter. Hello, all! My name is Rylea (pronounced Riley). I'm a high schooler and I'm pretty geeky. I make A's and B's. I love to read books and manga. I also like watching anime. I'm shy and not very athletic, more academic. I'm a Harry Potter fan. I like writing and I love Marauder stories. I've written two stories and I just started the early stages of my third, but it might take longer to put up than my last one because I'm not working that hard on it. My first story is about why Peter is great. It's supposed to be kind of funny (you can judge if it really is or not) and it's random. I wrote it while having a phone conversation with Ayla. My second story is a Remus and Sirius story. Other than being sappy it isn't so bad. It took me a lot of editing to get it the way I wanted. I usually start stories and never finish because I lose interest and have other things going on, but I'll try to continue my third one as much as I can. My bottom line when it comes to the Marauders- if Sirius and Remus are straight or in love with other people in a romance, the story isn't worth my time. It has to be at least a one-sided thing for me to want to glance at it. I'll decide after if I like it, love it, or hate it. Another thing, I completely dislike Lily. I realize that most stories mention James loving her, but if the story is about them, and only them loving each other... I'm not planning on reading it. Also, Peter is awesome. Leaving him out of stories is just morally wrong. He had a bigger part than most people realize. He was their friend growing up, no matter what he did after Hogwarts ended. I don't want to read stories where he has one-sided affections. And since I don't like Umbridge or Lily, I'm not reading a story where someone thinks that he deserved Umbridge or where he was jealous of James because of a girl. I'm biased and strict when it comes to those types of stories and whether I like them or not. I do read other Harry Potter fanfiction stories. I will read twincest because it's fiction and not real. I will also read the current generation stories, just not as frequently. I'm not as particular with those. I have read all the Harry Potter books twice. I don't like the movies because they suck and don't follow the books closely enough. But I'll get off that subject before I start ranting. My friends Ayla and Jaime had been wanting me to read the books for a long time, but I hadn't even touched a book until last September. I was instantly addicted and it only took me two months to read the series twice. Ayla and Jaime are some of my closest friends. I've known Ayla for 5-6 years and I've known Jaime for 3. We're all pretty nerdy and really close. I love those girls. I live in a different part of Missouri than they do, but we talk a lot on the phone. I have about 10 ongoing e-mails with Ayla right now. We all have our own Harry Potter nicknames. (SORRY, AYLA- if I copy some of the things you wrote, but hey, what are friends for? Hehehe LOVE YOU!) Jaime is James not because the names are so similar, but because she's competitive, short-tempered, good looking, and she's also a good friend. Her other nicknames include Prongs, Prongsie, and John Lennon. If she weren't James, she'd be a Slytherin. Ayla is Remus because she's the quiet, responsible, well-behaved one. And she's a little clumsy. Her other nicknames include Moony and Paul McCartney. I am Peter, Peber, Wormtail, Fatass, and George Harrison. I'm Peter because I am clumsy and slow (not stupid, but I have my moments). I have chicken-like arms and am really not that big, but the girls call me Fatass because of a stick figure comic that Jaime did once. I also eat a lot. (Ayla, I do weird things with my hair?) Ayla has an account on here called David Bowie is my Guilt Cookie. She has written three stories on here and they're pretty good. I recommend reading them and checking out her profile. Well... that's all I have to say for now... so... um... "GOOD DAY TO YOU, SIR!" |
