AU, based loosly on the Silence of the Lambs but held firmly in the Dragonball Z universe. A young cadet, Bulma Briefs comes to South City Prison to see the most feared creature on Earth, Prince Vegeta. Only he can help stop the mysterious alien serial killer that is plaguing Earth. A game of cat and mouse that really has no real winners. (Ongoing with the Hannibal story line.)

Bulma is one of the Z-fighters and a confrontation with the Saiyans leaves her the unwanted focus of Vegeta's attention. As the underlying reason for this is revealed will Bulma ever warm up to the cold-blooded assassin?

Alternate Universe: as Saiyan exiles currently residing on Namek with very little to celebrate, Vegeta and Bulma pause during a Namek Holiday to consider what the other means to them. Each then takes action to show the other exactly how much they are appreciated. Loosely based on "Gift of the Magi", originally written by O. Henry.
