After being kidnapped by his uncle, and watching his father die in front of him, he is promptly dumped in the wild to fend for himself. Given no explanation, and filled with a power he doesn't understand, and can't control, Gohan has to prepare himself to defend the Earth. A slightly darker take on a familiar story.
