![]() Author has written 2 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Hunger Games, and Kane Chronicles. Hello fellow readers! The first thing you guys probably thought of when you saw my profile was, how the heck did this person make up that username? Well, let's just say I made it because of my dangerous obsession with cherries. And now you guys are thinking that I'm crazy. Hmm, maybe I am. So, moving on to my fav books/series: - THE HUNGER GAMES TRILOGY (Can I hear a WHOOP WHOOP!) by Suzanne Collins - Percy Jackson & the Olympians/Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordan - Maximum Ride series by James Patterson - The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare - The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare - The Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan - The Host by Stephanie Meyer - GONE series by Michael Grant I don't really read movie or TV show fanfiction, but if I do it's usually: – Pretty Little Liars – Marvel movies (Avengers, Spider-Man, Gaurdians of the Galaxy, etc.) Oh, and I wanted to share a quote by the famous, creative Dr. Seuss. This doesn't relate to anything from the above, but I just had to show you guys this. Most people have probably heard of it from The Lorax: “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not.” I love this quote. Don't know why, I just do. Sadly, this isn't the end of my profile story/opinions/stuff-I-like/whatever-you-want-to-call-it. We (my dad and I) were driving back from a friend's house today, and my dad swerved out of the lane we were in. Apparently, there was big turtle on the road, and it was alive, but it wasn't moving. So we took a U-turn and stopped in that lane and used the headlights to look at the turtle/tortoise more carefully. My dad and I stood on the road for 10 minutes while 10 cars drove by without a glance. My dad forgot his phone, so we couldn't call anyone to help us. Eventually though, after a few minutes, an SUV drove by and stopped. We told the man who was driving about the turtle, and a guy came out of the SUV, picked the turtle up, walked across the road, and put it down in the grass. We thanked the strangers and told them that they were the only ones who stopped to help us and the turtle. The driver shrugged and said, "Yeah, well, we did." We all laughed and said our goodbyes and what not, but, guys, this whole experience showed me something. It showed that there was still hope for humanity. Even if it seems like everyone chooses to ignore you, there will always be someone who will notice you. Okay, enough deep inspirational crap. Yeeeeeah, SOOO… Read and review the ish I post, yo. I'm open to questions, comments, and suggestions. Your friend, Cherry |
