Hi, I'm Macker a.k.a. Tom. I'm 17 and live in rural Shropshire. I'm completely new to Fan fic, having written very little before, but since my girlfriend Hope has been raving about this site for several months, I decided I'd see what the fuss is about. I've enjoyed reading some of the stuff on here and thought I might give writing a try myself.

My general interests include playing Rugby as a prop for my school, club and county, playing various sports generally, reading, playing computer games and learning as much as I physically can about all things to do wih Biology.

My favourite books include Lord of the Rings, anything in the Forgotten Realms series (particularly R.A. Salvatore and Drizzt), the Age of the Five series, David Eddings' work, The Eragon series and multiple others.

My favourite films include stuff like XXX, Van Helsing, Underworld and generally anything high on action/sci fi/fighting and low on thought.

I'm into fairly hard rock/metal, and so like bands and artists such as Bullet for my Valentine, Linkin Park, the Offspring, Evanescence, Limp Bizkit and Muse.

Thats probably enough personal info, if and when I write anything, I'll let that do the talking for me.

...And I've written something. Quite enoyed doing it, though havn't had many reviews so far. I've sorta realised most writers on this site are female so I think I'l try and hold the male end up and maybe present a bit of a counterpoint to all the female stories. Dunno if it'l be popular or even work but there we are!
