Greetings.

I'm MisterGrimReaper, a new member to fanfiction but a long-time follower of the stories written here. After years of observing, I've finally taken the chance to try and dip into the community that has provided hours upon hours of joy filled time for myself. With a bit of luck, I aim to give back that very same joy by writing and provide the community here with a story or two on my favourite subjects.

Oh, here's some basic information about myself to begin with.

I've wrote for many years, mostly with role playing and lore writing for a few servers on various games and now seek to jump off into the most exciting format possible, fanfiction! When the time comes for my first story to be wrote, please leave reviews and any advice. I'll be grateful for it.

Before I forget, I was born and raised in the greatest nation on Mars, Marland, within the United Mardom. Thank you for taking the time to read this simple profile and if you feel extra happy to ask a question, send me a message.

My first Story will be written within the setting of Fairy Tail.

Title; Undying Request

About; A child is wandering through a marsh landscape, without a goal in mind or reason for existing in such a place. How did this child end up here? And why? These are some of the questions floating in the mind of the creature that stumbles upon the child before making a choice that'll effect the very future of Earthland itself. Be it positive or negative, only the future historians can answer such a bold question.

Note; This will be my first story for Fairy Tail and hopefully, not my last! It'll follow the cannon storyline with many changes and different outcomes. The focus will be centered more on Natsu and the path he'll undertake. To answer some questions before they are asked... Natsu will be powerful from the launch of cannon story but within reason. His magic will be different, he'll almost be entirely out of character for the this story to boot. Along with several other characters. Word of warning, he won't be destroying foes with a single spell that causes mass destruction or any such behaviour. I intend to make him smarter and use an entirely different approach to fighting that is currently the style of Fairy Tail.

It will be rated M for obvious reasons. Yes, there will be some ships sailing. Though I'm still not sure on who will fit Natsu best given his change throughout the story. Many characters will have new spells in their supply, fitting more in line with what sort of magic they use. Major and minor characters within Fairy Tail will also be undergoing changes as well. A major point in this story is it's slow pacing. I desire to jump into more mission requests, build up reputations of characters and explain more in general on how a certain character obtains their nickname. For this alone, many people from Marland will see it clearly on how sometimes a person can obtain their name from the most unlikely situation.

Even though it will follow cannon, it isn't following it down to each line being spoken again. For most cannon based dialog, I'll simply cover it up and move on unless I find it worth putting in. Now, I know time skips are useful and they will be happening very often throughout my story but never longer than a few months at a time with the longest being about two years(much later on). This doesn't mean I'll be skipping the reason for it nor hiding what happened during the skip. It will be explained about the goings on during it to avoid annoying myself and others.

Character strength will be tricky to pull off because honestly, a lot of mages within the story itself are quite weak and I'm including Wizard Saints, guilds and more importantly, bloody rune knights. How on earth are they so weak when they're supposed to be anti-magic soldiers. It's beyond belief, really is. The seven year time gap, suddenly winning the games against more experienced mages at this point in time and many, many other reasons for what ticks me off. That little rant over, if you want to ask a question or anything like that, by all means go ahead. I'll reply as quick as possible.

And the final note for this is. I'm a slow writer, haven't written in quite a long time and it'll take a good chunk to get back into the flow of things. Till then, please don't be too put off by chapter lengths. They'll increase as the story goes on and I'm becoming more comfortable with writing again. Story/Chapter; Chapter four is posted along with notes surrounding what's next on my to-do list. Work on finishing chapter five and having it posted for next week will begin this weekend and information story surrounding characters found in my main story will be up with it. It'll contain character descriptions, their magic and also hold information on buildings/orders/temples/sects/guilds and types of creatures that will be found in the story lore.
