Spark and Fire -- Small time warp in Ch. 6 & 7 to get out of the corner I have written myself into.
The Flame's Conscience -- Plotting nearly complete, writing out Chapter 1 (snippet available on my blog)
Untitled I -- Contemporary/Near-future/Urban Fantasy FMA. Plotting.
Untitled II -- Sci-Fi FMA. Also plotting.

About Me (The salient bits)
Here on FanFiction, I read and, when inspiration strikes me, review. I'm currently working on two FMA fics titled, Spark and Fire (formerly Parva scintilla saepe magnam flamam excitant), and The Flame's Conscience. I have no idea how long either of the stories will be, but I can almost guarantee that both will be longer than ten (10) chapters.

Spelling
As you can see, I'm Canadian. The world does its best to ignore us. We, Canadians, use a mixture of UK and US spellings. We have extra 'u's and we use -ize, we have tires on airplanes, not tyres on aeroplanes; we should hypothesize, not hypothesise--you get the idea. So don't be surprised if you find "inconsistent" spelling scattered about my stories. I find it looks weird when I add a period after Mr, Mrs, Dr, etc. so I tend to follow the British convention of not using them.

Chapter Updates
I will try very hard to finish it in a timely manner, but updates will be erratic. From past experience, the chances of me hitting writer’s block, getting sidetracked while researching, and/or being distracted by books are rather high.
UPDATE: At this point, I'll just promise that I will finish my stories, whether it will take me a year or a decade is another matter.

I have a blog (thoughtsofnariko.blogspot.ca) called Thoughts of Nariko Cooper where I hope to keep up-to-date reports on the statuses of upcoming chapters. Those are posted every occasionally on Sunday. Interspersed between status updates telling you my page/word count, whether I'm plotting or editing. There will be posts about my frustrations and expected delays. Every once in a while, I'll post--wait for it--DELETED SCENES. More details of that on my blog.

I'm also a member of Penana. Penana is a platform where its members can post stories online and it's quite similar to FictionPress and Wattpad. I use Penana to post my original stories. Pen name is, as always, Nariko Cooper.

About Me (Extended Version)
Hmmm... what else should I add? Blood type? (It's A pos in case anyone was curious) Favourite colour used to be any shade of dark blue, now... it's broadened to include shades of dark red and green. (Huh, primary colours. Interesting)

IRL, I’m a university graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Science (Biology), so for four years, I grew bacteria, genetically modified viruses (counting them was not fun), determined how much nicotine is in dried tobacco leaves and hardness of water (yes, I took analytical chemistry), determined the genotype of fruit flies (one of my favourite labs), sliced open a couple sharks, a cat, a bird, numerous frogs and some other animals. At some point in my third year, I felt as if my soul had been sucked out by a dementor, but half of my fourth-year courses made up for everything I've ever suffered through.

I am recent graduate of the Library and Information Technician Diploma program, and I'm fulfilling my childhood desire to work in a library. I'm currently working...hold up here, that info might be a little too specific. Sufficed to say, I'm now job hunting.
