Books: Well, Harry Potter (duh), Percy Jackson, Hunger Games, and any other book that catches my eye. As far as classics go, I love Pride and Prejudice as well as Little Women and Sense and Sensibility.

John Green is one of my idols, most definitely. I started off watching him on YouTube and I admire how he overcomes anxiety in order to further his career and inspire all of Nerdfighteria. He's one of the few authors that can effortlessly balance humor, sadness, wistfulness, and so many other emotions in a matter of pages.

Movies: Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail, When Harry Met Sally, The Help, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Breakfast Club, any and all classic Disney movies, and Bend it Like Beckham (I SHIP JOE AND JESS SO HARD). Big fan of coming-of-age movies.

TV Shows: Love comedies. The Mindy Project, the Office, Big Bang Theory, the Neighbors, Modern Family, Friends, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Saved by the Bell. Know where I'm going with this?

Music: I'm kind of all over the place. Imagine Dragons, Maroon 5, Of Monsters and Men, Mumford and Sons, Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, A.J. Rafael, Beyonce, Tori Kelly, Beyonce, and too many others.

Hobbies: writing, reading, playing and listening to music, basketball, hanging out with friends and family, watching TV. Sleeping. The usual adolescent stuff.

More Pointless Information and Random Rambling

I've always loved writing, but maybe that started with reading. I think what holds so much appeal is the way certain writers can bring their words to life. But, really, what is a good writer? Is it just someone who can string words together and make them sound nice? I've always wondered that.

I live by the 2 Fs: family and friends. They're important to me and key to my happiness, to put it lightly.

Well, me? I'm the good student who follows the rules and gets good grades and works hard in everything. And it pays off. I'm cool to some, weird to others, and just "there" to all the rest. I psychoanalyze things too much sometimes...other times I don't notice enough. I'm funny when there are things to play off of.

I'm into theatre...where else can you be a complete psycho and get away with it? I like Les Miserables, Wicked, Seussical, Grease, Fame, etc.

Music, even the word is amazing. I love music because it's a mix of words that describe us, our feelings, and the melody that brings those feelings alive. I play guitar, ukulele, violin, and throat (reference to Victorious).

It's a bit of a cliche, but I like rainy days with hot chocolate underneath a blanket with a movie on. But I also like basketball outside in 70 degree weather. I'm not normal. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty weird. But I think it's normal for everyone to have a bit of weird in them, if you follow me. I'm also sort of crazy. Not insane crazy, more of a hyper-peppy-crazy.

And I'm so not sarcastic.

Usually, there's so much for me to say that there's never enough time for me to say it all. But, right now, I find myself in an odd situation: I'm drawing a blank as far as things to talk about. Huh. The fact that the possibilities for my profile are so open-ended is leaving me a bit...at a loss for words.

So, until I find more to say, I must anon (if that's the right use for the word).
