I created PetNotify after a personal experience of losing a dog that I found in a nearby street because I had no way to communicate with its owner. It made me realize that good Samaritans have no easy way to help pets that they find but unable to secure in a location.

Since pets typically get lost around their homes,my sincere hope is that many folks from a single locality use PetNotify so that crowd-sourcing becomes effective.

To make it easy for folks to communicate, I have developed an automated system to receive texts and post it on a dashboard. This makes PetNotify accessible to anyone with a phone which is almost 100% of our adult population today.
