There are two things in this world that Mycroft Holmes hates the most: his literature class and Greg Lestrade. At least one of them becomes slightly entertaining.

Sherlock is still shaken up by his reaction to Irene Adler and her riding crop and can't figure out why. He drags John to go meet Irene, who is happy to help design an experiment which ultimately involves lots of toys, Sherlock tied naked to a bench, and John cataloging responses on a chart because Sherlock wants to be all scientific about it. It's hard to just observe, though ...

A rescue mission is required when one of our boys gets themselves into some serious bother. Someone is particularly unhappy about it! Seems to be heading slightly D'art/Athos. Final chapter up!

Athos was quite clear in his instruction. d'Artagnan was supposed to return to Paris with the others. Instead, he decides to disregard the Musketeers orders. Can d'Artagnan convince the Musketeer he is still to be trusted and can Athos finally find a route to redemption? Set during Commodities, right after the fire. It is d'Artagnan's turn to step up and take care of Athos.

Sherlock and John haven't talked to each other in almost five months. The reason being they had a heated discussion and John stopped coming around. What John finds once he comes to 221B Baker Street is the remnants of his once so bright and exuberant friend. John helps the man and stays with him, both of them needing to discuss what is on their minds but neither of them starting.

John comes home to find Sherlock dangerously bored - contemplating-cocaine-again bored. He manages to get Sherlock to re-focus his attention, this time on John. Sherlock discovers he likes getting to "deduce" what John wants. And when he deduces that John really, really wants to get off, then, well, who is he to say no?

Sherlock is bored and in need of a fix anything will so he decides to try the high he has never experienced. Cue Molly Hooper
