I have been reading fanfiction for about six years now and I decided it was time to take a shot at doing some writing. I am a big fan of InuYasha, Hellsing, Bleach, Samurai Deeper Kyo, and Naruto though I have read some Harry Potter stories they are not my favorite choice when it comes to reading. After JKR's third book her fame started to affect her writing style and I hate it when authors let there fame affect their writing especially when the results are not favorable to the series. I did like the fourth Harry Potter book because her writing was just starting to show change in that book and I continue to read the series just because I like to finish a book series even if I dislike it. There is one Harry Potter fanfiction story that I recommend and it can be found on my favorite stories list. Moby Dick the unabridged version is a prime example of my stick-to-itiveness. The book spent like three chapters explaining why the colour white was so terrifying. I hope to never read that book again but I may have to when I start college this fall. It was the worst book I have ever read. My favorite books are the books of "The Forsyte Saga." I suggest you read them if you haven't already.

The story I am working on right now is an InuYasha based fanfic that I hope people like. This is my first time writing a story so please tell me if I should do something to my writing in order to make my story better. I will try to update it often but real life may get in the way. I have a theory that I have concocted based on Japanese folk lore (I guess that is what it is called) about the power of the Tenseiga and the Tessaiga. There is a legend about two sword smiths. Masamune and Muramassa were both great sword smiths who were supposed to enter into a contest to see who made better swords. Both swords were placed into a river and the sword that Muramassa made cut through all objects that flowed down the river while Masamune's sword cut through none of the objects that flowed down the river. Muramassa thought that he had won the contest but a Monk who witnessed the sight said, "The first of the swords was by all accounts a fine sword, however it is a blood thirsty, evil blade as it doesn't discriminate as to who or what it will cut. It may just as well be cutting down butterflies as severing heads. The second was by far the finer of the two, as it doesn't needlessly cut that which is innocent and undeserving." This is why I believe that Sesshoumaru has the most powerful sword of the two.
