 Author has written 1 story for Elder Scroll series, and Dragon Age. Sooo... yeah. This is my first time using this account for anything besides keeping track of my favorite stories. I started "The Blood of Kings" mostly because I saw a serious lack in that particular crossover genre. It just started out with the idea of "Hey, what if whoever you left in the Fade got sent to Skyrim?" Mostly I just didn't want to think of them being abandoned in the Fade to die! At first I was going to send Hawke, but then I was like "Nope! Alistair should be the one!" If you've read a bit more into his family history then you might be able to imagine where I'm probably going with this story. Plus I just love, love, love Alistair! I romanced the shit out of him in DA:O. He's just too funny and sweet. Annnddd that's it, I guess. I could go on but I'd rather get to the next chapter. UPDATE: Believe it or not, I'm in the middle of chapter 8 in "The Blood of Kings". I've, unfortunately, been in the "middle" of it for over a month now! I blame school, kids, and the resulting lack of sleep. Not to mention the severe writer's burnout I'm suffering through from all the papers I have to write on what seems like a weekly basis! ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) Y U no gimme break!? Please be patient with me... School is almost over! Just until the end of August... Then National Boards... Then CRDTs exam... Then Jurisprudence exam... *sob* 10/25/2018 Sooooo, yeah... It's been like a year since the last time I was even on this website. In my defense, I've had a very busy year! Graduated, got my license, found a job, had to move for said job, bought a house, now have lots of housework, and a six-year-old who needs Mommy's attention! Now I haven't forgotten about this fic, I just need to find the time get it done! Plus I'm having some serious writers block right now when it comes to action scenes. I'm just never happy with anything I come up with! *sigh* I don't even know if anyone even reads this anymore... |
