I’m female, 19, I live in Canada, and for those of you who care, you can call me Kat.

Most of the fic I write will either be for the Hunger Games series or for Merlin (BBC series). I have a Percy Jackson and the Olympians story and when that's done I might write a few one-shots. I am also planning to write a Heroes of Olympus fic, and possibly a Once Upon a Time AU. As for The Mortal Instruments series, I might write another one-shot but otherwise I'm done with it.

As anyone who reads my ongoing stories knows by now, I take a very long time to update. I am doing my best to change that, but life keeps me busy sometimes. As far as The Flames Rose Higher is concerned, there will be one or two more chapters. When that story is done, I will update If You Burn once or twice and then I will turn my attention to The Keeper of Fate.

Also, I know I said I wouldn't be posting any new stories for a long while, but. I lied. I started watching Teen Wolf recently and I got really inspired and then a fic just happened.

In Progress Stories

The Keeper of Fate – Percy Jackson fic, canon for now, will eventually be AU, Luke/OC, Romance-Adventure-Humour, rated T, SPOILERS for the PJO series, will be approx. 60 to 70 chapters long. Full list of warnings can be found at the top of the first chapter. This story has NOT been abandoned.

The Flames Rose Higher – Hunger Games fic, AU, Cinna/Katniss, Romance-Friendship-Angst, rated T but might be changed to M, SPOILERS for the HG series, will be 10 or 11 chapters long. I will be updating this story next.

If You Burn – Hunger Games fic, collection of AU or canon one-shots, Cinna/Katniss, Romance and other genres depending on the one-shot, each chapter has its own warnings, there will be approx. 20 chapters in total.

Dess’ Progress Report – Percy Jackson fic, blatant hints at Luke/OC, a (most likely poor) attempt at humour. I got the idea from Percy’s Progress Report on Rick Riordan’s website; the idea is 100% Rick Riordan’s. No major spoilers. Rating is K.

Poker Face – Mortal Instruments fic, a really short canon one-shot, a look into Isabelle’s head during the Seelie Court scene. Contains angsty Clary/Jace. SPOILERS up to that point in City of Ashes. Rating is T because of Clary/Jace being...you know. Them.

Set Your Old Heart Free - Teen Wolf fic, canon compliant, Allison-centric, endgame Scott/Isaac and Allison/?, Romance, rated T, SPOILERS for TW up to the 3a finale.

Upcoming Stories

(I will not be posting any new stories until I've finished The Flames Rose Higher, updated You Burn and gotten to around Chapter 40 for The Keeper of Fate. Also no new stories unless I've finished writing them from beginning to end. I've learned my lesson. No more WIPs for me.)

My views on shipping:

I think pairing wars are stupid. People have different opinions than you sometimes, no need to go and yell at them for that.

I'm open to most pairings, canon or otherwise. There are very few ships I dislike enough that I won't even consider reading them. There are a lot of pairings that I think are plausible, but they just don't interest me enough that I would want to read/write a story focused on them.

I don't like or dislike slash. I just have my own ideas about which characters would make a good couple; sometimes those characters are both boys, sometimes they're both girls, sometimes they're opposite genders.

The main pairings you can expect in my stories:

For The Hunger Games - it'll always be Cinna/Katniss (unless I'm going for canon compliant) and Finnick/Annie (if they're in the fic at all) as endgame pairings. I also have a disturbing tendency to include one-sided Peeta/Katniss, which is weird because I want Peeta to be happy and I don't like the thought of him in pain. Other than that I'm all over the place.

For Merlin - mostly Merlin/Arthur (which is my OTP to end all OTPs) but sometimes Merlin/Mordred. Also Gwen with either Lancelot or Morgana (or maybe alone, because she is strong and independent and badass and not defined by her love interest).

For Once Upon a Time - it'll always be Emma/Graham as the main pairing. Also Snow/Charming and Belle/Rumpelstilskin as minor pairings, and everyone else will be all over the place.

For Teen Wolf - it'll always be Scott/Isaac as endgame, Lydia with either Jackson, Allison or Stiles, and usually Erica/Boyd. Everyone else is all over the place.
