-5/5/04: Feliz Cinco de Mayo! Yeah...so, anyway, getting down to business...my computer crashed about a week ago (our system was infected with Spyware, which I guess got on there from me downloading loads of stuff all the time...this is according to my parents, at least, who I think really just wanted to blame me). So, because our computer crashed, we lost everything that was on it before...all our programs, and everything we'd saved to the harddrive. Which means that not only is the nearly-finished chapter 2 to Upside Down completely erased, but MSWord is gone, too. And the only way I can figure out how to upload stories to ff.net is with Word. Now I've got to start from scratch with chapter two, and I've got to wait until we get the means of putting Word back on our computer (we don't actually have the disk...we borrowed it from someone to install it on our computer). Damn Spyware, setting me back... I assure you that I'm going to get straight back to work on the story, and until I can get the next chapter out, please just bear with me and be patient. Thanks!

-3/28/04: Lack of updates for Upsdide Down are due to the fact that I am extremely busy. I got a half hour on the computer a day if I was luck these past few weeks. If I was lucky, I must stress. Things are finally settling down, now, and I have started writing the next chapter, so expect an update soon. My profuse appologies for not getting one to you all yet, though...and thank you so much for all the wonderful reviews!

-3/6/04: Yes, my pen name has undergone a drastic change, but I really rather like it. If you keep reading, you'll find out where I got it from, but I'd also like to call attention to the new fic I started, "Upside Down," which, yes, is going to be a chaptered fic. I am very dedicated to actually updating this one, and in fact spent all night last night slaving over it, so that's promising. Also, it's based on reality, so I don't have to depend on my muse for this one...I've already lived the plot. As for my other stories, they've been put indefinitely on hold, and we'll see what happens with them.

Who am I? That's a horribly complex question, and, if I answered it truthfully, you would be overwhelmed with a feeling of confusion. So I'm going to break it down into simpler terms and talk to you about all those things we simpletons generally do...hobbies, likes, dislikes, yadda, yadda, yadda... I'm a diehard softball player; second baseman on the Varsity team. I play tennis, too, but things involving that sport are annoying me at the moment, so I commitment to it has dropped down a bit. Still, those two sports, along with my trumpet, reading, writing, and surfing the 'net like a mindless zombie are my passions. I wish my life was more interesting, but alas...where I come from, boredom abounds. I'm 16 years old and a junior, something I'm very excited about...now I'm only one and a half years away from leaving my annoying little town and flitting off to Michigan State University! Ah, well. Moving on... I'm a Gemini (and I fit the part very well, I think) who, in the Potterverse, would be somewhere along the lines of a Gryffindor or Ravenclaw. I'm totally into all sorts of mystical, mythical, unbelievable sorts of things, mainly because I wish my life featured that sort of stuff. I'm a dreamer if there ever was one, and have aspirations of having an adventure, falling in love, being successful, leading a meaningful and important life, and becoming rich (though, as I'm constantly being reminded, money isn't everything). Of course, the way things are going right now, it looks like the only one of those goals I'm ever going to achieve is becoming rich (maybe I'll be successful, too, and with any luck I'll fall in love...love is very confusing, you know...especially when you're not exactly sure whether or not you're in love...Of course, since I don't have any luck...). This depresses me, but I try to look on the bright side of things, being the optimist that I am: I firmly believe that when I die I can be reincarnated as the HP character of my choice (don't even bother calling my crazy, I accepted that's what I am long ago)!

As for fanfics, I like Harry Potter, Buffy, and crossovers between the two. My 'ships lie mostly in the HP region, and are: R/Hr (gotta love 'em), D/G, H/G (which I accept, but like less than D/G), J/L (come on now, who else would they be with?), and F/A. I'm also beginning to really like Harry/Blaise and other couples that are Gryffindor/Slytherin. However, in light of the release of OotP, I am officially a Harry/Luna 'shipper, and it is officially my favorite 'ship! I've been converted to a Percy/Katie 'shipper by echo because of her one of her many brilliant stories, "Absolutely Spiffing", but I can see Katie with Oliver, too. With Oliver ships, I prefer Oliver/Me, but that's a bit Mary-Sueish, isn't it? Yes, that's right, Mary-Sues are BAD. But my, Sean Biggerstaff is a hottie. So's Tom Felton, for that matter. Yes, they're soooooo hot...*drools* Whoops. *tries to stealthily wipe the drool from her face* Yeah, so back to 'ships and fics.

Ships I can't stand include H/Hr and anything slash (that's just not me, k?). As you may have noticed, updating is something that has not happened for quite awhile in chaptered fics...this is a problem. However, I just can't seem to motivate myself to solve this problem, though I haven't a clue as to why. Maybe one of these days I'll get around to updating chaptered fics, but for now I think I'm going to stick to one-shots.
