About me: I am in my early 40's, and work in the technical field. I've been writing fiction since I was 15, but am essentially unpublished, other than a few columns in my college's humor magazine. I enjoy talking to other writers about writing, and have participated in several panels and roundtable discussions of the craft at my local Science Fiction convention, InConJunction, which is held in Indianapolis, IN, annually around July 4th weekend. I also help run the convention Programming and Operations departments. I am also a musican, singer/songwriter, actor and director, and have appeared in over a dozen stage productions and concerts.

I've recently moved back to the Indianapolis area after a five year hiatus in my birth town of Toledo, OH. Other residences have included Southfield, MI; New Haven CT, Sleepy Hollow, IL (Chicago suburb) and Mesa, AZ.

About my fiction: I tend to gravitate toward Science Fiction and Fantasy, but have also written a few mystery stories. I also like to include a bit of humor in almost everything I write, but can be quite dark when the mood strikes. I have also done a fair amount of what would be considered "erotic" fiction, although I focus on the seduction and non-physical foreplay much moreso than the actof sex itself. My favorite thing to write is teasers. I am also very open to comments and constructive criticism, and am willing to beta/edit for anyone.

I've been involved in an on-line interactive writing group called World Weavers for many years, dating back to the late 1980's when it began as a fan forum on the Prodigy service. The groups has since moved several times, residing now mostly on Yahoo Groups but also being archived on UseNet. I am a past president of this group, serving for two and a half years during the height of its popularity. World Weavers had over 150 members world-wide at that time, but has dwindled considerably since then, which is why I am now here. I've decided to stop waiting for other people and just write for myself.

I believe my writing strengths are my realistic dialogue, deep characters, and action sequences. My acknowleged weaknesses are in long descriptive passages and background exposition.
