I'm a student in California, a sophomore. I've been writing stories since I was about 10, but my grammar and vocabulary wasn't very well developed as it is now back then so my "stories" were kind of all over the place. Over the years, I developed a wider vocabulary and an even wider imagination, more recently edging towards horror and the macabre. I never seem to finish a novel, though, feeling a little emptier with every chapter and eventually losing will to persevere. The only novel I have ever finished was called "Bloodflower" and it was about these five girls who magically acquired powers after the villain opened a portal to another world. I wrote it over the course of about 3 months, with each of the twenty-something chapters read individually by my friends. The title had no connection to the story whatsoever. I very well can't post it here because it was a written novel and after reading it over a couple of times, I decided to throw it away because of the epic fail it was. After that, I fell into a writer's block for a while. I began to read more to gain any form of inspiration.
