To the readers who come here, I welcome you. I am very new to the scene of fanfiction, and have kept my work a secret for several months. If you could, please do not be too tough on my work. I know that S.I. stories are looked down on a lot, but who wouldn't want to imagine themselves in their favorite fictional world, and not make themselves seem overpowered (I will do my best to not overpower my S.I., but I should clear the air that despite what the stories may seem like, the S.I. is the main character of the series).

I would also like to give a shout out to Sallem Cortez 004 and Lord Daemon, who, if I had not discovered, would not give me the desire to write, or the courage to post. It was Sallem who gave me the desire to make my stories S.I. (don't hate on him if you don't like my stories, as he has done nothing to deserve your hate), and it is thanks to Lord Daemon, who gave me the desire to keep trying with my writing no matter what. Here's some info on my S.I., James Mellenor

Name: James Mellenor

History: James is the son that was born from a union of the two ancient families, known only as the Family of the Light and the Family of the Darkness (see prolouge on Fictionpress for a small amount of their history). Due to the unique case of his birth, James's powers, appearance and personality change with the rising and setting of the sun. He has lived a reletively normal life up till now. However, due to events that don't really seem to make sense, he will be thrown around the multiverse. In total, he will be sent to twelve different worlds, one after the other. His first destination, the world of 11eyes (visual novel version). His second destination, the world of Yumekui Merry.

Appearance: Day form: He is about 7 ft. 5 in. in height, and is unnaturally muscular. His hands are of an ablnormal size, yet are still able to handle the more delicate pieces of any of his crafts. His hair is pitch black, and his eyes are like polished silver. He also commonly wears a plain white t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers.

Night form: He is only about 4 ft. tall, and is built like a stick. He appears to be so boney that his bones can be seen through his skin. He is able to lift some things, but only if they do not weigh more then himself. His hair is pure white, and his eyes glow like solid gold. Due to his diminutive stature, he can only wear robes made out of silk; his own robes are a plain brown color.

Personality: Day form: He is very kind to others, and is all but impossible to anger. He feels that he should be kind to anyone, no matter who or what they are. Due to this, he will only fight if someone he greatly cares about is threatened or harmed. When this happens, he can become greatly enraged and fill with unnatural killing intent. He is willing to help others by making things for them, and even though he does charge for his work, his prices are almost always low and fair.

Night form: He is very grumpy, and is only kind to those who he sees as being too pure of heart to truly hate. He is always in a bad mood, and is usually angry for no good reason. If he feels insulted or threatened, then he will fight the person who insulted/threatened him. Sometimes he'll even fight just for the sake of fighting. He will help people, but he usually charges for his serves, and his prices are almost always high, yet somehow fair at the same time.

Shared: While it may be hard to see at times, James is actually mentally unstable. This is due to years of changing form with the rising and setting of the sun. While it is not a problem most of the time, it gets progressively worse every day. Given enough time, his mind will shatter, and the part of James that makes him who he is will be lost in the broken maze that his mind will become.

Equipment: Day form: He has twin swords that were forged by his own hands: each is made out of a special metal that is very hard to find, known as adamantium (trademark of the Final Fantasy series, I think, and I don't own the rights to it). The metal is indestructible, and the blades are enchanted. One is bathed in black flames that can burn through anything but the metal the blade is made of and James's own flesh, while the other is covered in black ice that can freeze anything it touches to -100 degrees celsius. He also has a war hammer that is enchanted to shoot lightning (much like Thor's hammer, but not the same appearance), and a shield made entirely out of earth that can manipulate the earth to a certain extent. He also wears a special armor that is made of adamantium, and is enchanted to turn into his casual attire.

Night form: He has two staves, both of which are used to reduce the strain on his own body when he uses his type of magic. One is made of holy wood, and is covered in runes and sigils that amplify healing and creation magic, making it a great channel for most charms, healing spells, and minor summons. The other is made of elder wood, and is covered in runes and sigils that amplify harmful magic, making it a great channel for pain inflicting charms, hexes, curses, and most summons. He also has a pair of braclets that multiply his already great magical output by 10, but he rarely uses them. He recently finished making a special amulet that allows him short glimpses of the future, but he only uses this when he feels it to be absolutely necessary. Finally, he has an ancient tome known as the Grimoire of Eternal Shadow; this book has been passed down for thousands of generations of the Family of the Darkness, and has tens of thousands of spell written within. The book is a weapon in its own right, as it does has a semiconsciousness that will protect the book if harm should ever come to it, and is able to asimilate the magic of other worlds into its pages for James to use as he sees fit.

Powers/Abilities: Day form: He is naturally very strong, and is even believed to be able to lift things that are humanly impossible to lift (semi-trucks). Aside from this, he is very skilled as a blacksmith. He is able to forge just about any weapon out of any material. Also, he has enough magic power to enchant his crafts with just about any enchantment.

Night form: He may be unimaginably weak on the physical level, but he is very strong on the magical level. He is able to use magic of any form (charms, summons, curses, etc.). His unique type of magic, compared to the magic of other worlds, is in a league all its own. Also, thanks to the powers of the Grimoire of Eternal Shadow, he is able to use the magic of others worlds, as long as that world has some form of magic that he can utilize.

Shared powers: Because of his bloodline, James has a natural invulnerability to all modes of attack and harm during both day and night. Only powerful magical items and weapons can harm him under normal circumstances. Under special conditions though, his invulnerability will be taken away entirely.

Last Note: Despite what it may appear like in my stories, James is the main character. I just focus on the characters from the world he is in because: 1) S.I.'s that don't focus on the actual characters are usually hated on, 2) I don't want James to appear like an unstoppable force, 3) I want to save James's big part in each story for the last few chapters, 4) this is fanfiction, so I'll do what I want with him.

Anime/Manga: To Love Ru and To Love Ru Darkness (for obvious reasons), Rosario Vampire (again, obvious), Another (great horror anime, but now I can't look at umbrellas the same way ever again), Demon King Daimao, Dream Eater Merry, Angel Beats, Princess Resurrection (seriously, someone needs to make a crossover of this and To Love Ru. Just imagine if Hime and her faction ended up in Sainan, and Hime made Rito her blood warrior alongside Hiro. Oh, the chaos), 11eyes (I thought it was okay the first time I watched it, but now it just seems like mess, though I will give Lass an A for effort) and Black Cat

Books: The Dresden Files (hands down, greatest book series ever), Percy Jackson, The Kane Chronicles (it was okay, but definitely not the best), The Last Apprentice series (also known as the Wardstone Chronicles), and Harry Potter (really, more crossovers of this and Dresden Files. Putting Potter and Dresden together is awesome from most of the good stories I've read)

Music: Basically, any opening song to any anime I've watched that could hold my attention, but the full version of the song.
