I have been Blackie since I can remember. Life with DH and a teenager son in a big city like Buenos Aires -Argentina- can be many things at the same time: noisy and loud, shining with glass like buildings, quiet only on Sunday mornings and Holidays, burning hot during summer, orange and yellow in the fall, foggy through the winter and windy nights along the spring.

My home town, 600 km away from BA is crowded by relatives and friends. Always waiting on the curve when we arrive, ready to catch up and spend dusk sitting in the front door. Familiar sounds reverberate everyday taking me to my childhood, longing to go back in time. That´s how good it was. Wishing to be able to do everything again exactly in the same way, yearning to live it once more.

One day I read about Twilight. Bought the book to give it to my son to read. Read it myself first. Fell in love. Bought New Moon and Eclipse together. Later Breaking Dawn.

I discovered Rob and the blogs. I got hooked up by Robsessedpattinson and never looked back. Through the amazing hosts Gozde and Dani I met awesome women: the Robkats -I´m utterly proud to be considered one of them- and they took me by the hand along my first fanfics. The incredible writers in this world of wonder take me in an incredibly powerful trip to imagination, sorrow and happiness, hope and despair, longing and vengeance. Everything in a perfect mix to saciate every need every distinct day.

What else can I say? I am deeply grateful to these writers, to this world, to life, to my parents.

OK. We also have two dogs and one paraplegic 19 year old cat. And we are happy. At times. As anybody else.
