Okay, so here it is. I'm 37, male, and bored. So, I figured that I'd finally write a profile for the site.

I've been reading fanfiction for 17 years now, ever since a friend of mine gave me the virus. Now, I'm 100 percent infected and lethally contagious. ;-D

I'm an unpublished author and my writings consist of various forms of fiction. When (If?) I get published, I probably won't have much free time, but I'll still be reading fanfics.

Personally, I think fanfiction should be free, which is why I don't buy those fanfic books based in George Lucas's most famous world. Yeah, I went there.

Frankly, I'm thrilled with many of the fanfics on this site placed in the previously mentioned setting.

I'm also a fan of Harry Potter and Harry Dresden fanfics, and I'm an old school comic buff (since way back in the 80's; god I'm so old :-p) so I'm a big fan of crossovers with the Marvel universe. I'm not a big fan of most of the DC comics... a few are good (who didn't imagine being Superman/The Flash/Green Lantern as a kid?) but it seems like the DC villians are a little too engrossed in the whole eternal vengeance thing. Seriously, I think they just need a significant other to help mellow them out. I'm also a fan of a large variety of anime and manga, and I'm totally immersed in Gen13.

I play video games, and usually have a fairly good grasp of a game after a couple hours play, though I don't do many MMORPG's. I play for personal pleasure, not out of a sense of competition, so it's rare that I play online with any game; I definitely don't like games that require you be online just to save the freakin' game.

Alright, that should be enough self ranting for now.

I don't have many stories in my faves list yet, but I am listing my fave authors slowly but surely.

Rorschach's Blot, you are an amateur writing god! "Larceny, Lechery, and Luna Lovegood!" is by far one of the best fanfics I've read to date. My summary: Take one introvert hero, place in large pot, add in an overachieving book nut, and mix thoroughly. Simmer over an open flame until agitated. Let stand for five minutes before dusting with an oversexed oddball seer. Serve, and retreat from ensuing high jinks. =d Yum. Honestly, though, this story has it's own twist upon cannon, a flowing story line with occasional side stories, and probably the most entertaining writing of Luna Lovegood I've had the good fortune of reading. It's a must read from one of my Fave authors.
