Greetings and Blessings of the day upon you

It is not often that I have someone view my profile and I must say it is a pleasure to meet such a person. I have always been an avid reader and have shared a love of literature and fiction since I was young. I remember the amazing feelings of warmth and intrigue and many other countless emotions imparted from the first books that I could truly understand, those of the Redwall series by Brian Jacques, read to me by my father which gave me such vivid and amazing dreams of fantasy lands.The feeling only beaten when I first picked up a book for myself that I could read through properly and stumbled upon the world of The Hobbit.

Since then I have read many of the classical fictions and diversified into the realms of sci-fi and fantasy as well as historical fiction but where my heart truly lies is the realms of the fantasy extraordinaire where the world can be turned upon its head, spun three times and brought crashing down all to be raised anew with renewed intrigue, mystery and romance. Where dragons and centaurs goblins, trolls, gryffins, serpents, wraiths and spectres can exist and where evil abounds only to be bested by fearless heroes of every conceivable background.

It was Tolkien who in his wisdom said that when you step onto the road you must keep your feet for you never know where it will lead, i would like to think that he was referring to the mindscape of fiction and its everlasting ability to sweep you off your feet. it thus only lasts for me to say welcome once more and to share with you my love of literature and fantasy.

N.b. The current re-invention of my one and only fan fiction piece has hit a minor snag, that being that my old computer has most brutally been ravaged by a computer virus leaving me bereft of my rewritten and well thought out plot lines and drafts. Until the brave workers of the local pcworld have managed to recover them I am afraid that I have hit a roadblock and thus have not been able to post another chapter. I must crave the indulgence of those that have favourited the piece and hope to be writing again soon, reality and time not withstanding.
