Courting one's Beloved is a difficult process at the best of times, with complex customs to remember. For Thorin Oakenshield, it's a whole lot more complicated than that. Firstly, his Beloved is a hobbit who has absolutely no idea that he even is Thorin's Beloved. Secondly, Thorin may or may not be completely invisible to said hobbit. Mahal has ever laughed upon the Line of Durin.

Kili has a dream about a certain elf who just saved his life. A Hobbit romance fic about Kili the dwarf and Tauriel the elf. It takes place right where their story ended off in the movie by Peter Jackson. I hope you enjoy! I might update it in the future. Also, there's smut in chapter 4 and 5.

Never written fanfiction before, but Kili and Tauriel in The Desolation of Smaug were just too perfect. A short expansion on the scene where Kili almost dies and he and Tauriel have a moment. No adult themes, just feels. ALSO: Timeline is fudged a bit so Smaug doesn't show up and distract everyone. Forgive me if specific dialogue/action are off; otherwise should be fairly canon.
