I write, because I am a writer. In particular, I am an incurable mental fan-fiction writer, and sometimes this seeps out through my fingers into the Real World of MS Word documents. My main obsession is the wonderful world of Tolkien--and NOT the movies. The books. Especially Morgoth's Ring, one of the best compendiums on all things elf.

Any fanfic up here is purely based on playing hard and respectfully with Tolkien's world.

I feature OCs prominently, because I am far too chicken to write for actual canon characters. My focus is on broken and/or imperfect elves with strange fates--the sort that populate the Silmarillion. Expect humor/sarcasm, angst, drama, action, some romance, and a fair amount of awkward situations.
