Time for a second fan fiction!

Winter Song is coming real, real soon. It's my new Gakuen Alice fan fiction that focuses on the Natsume-Mikan relationship. It can be considered a sequel to Ready To Fall, but you don't need to read that prior to this new one. It is set ten years after Mikan set foot in the Academy, and about five years since my first story.

It's how many years in the making, and I've been itching to upload the chapters I've finished. However, I'm not gonna do that until I've finished half of the story, or at least reached an important pivot chapter, but believe me, I'm almost there. I just didn't want what happened in Ready To Fall to happen again--I don't want the readers to wait too long for the succeeding chapters. I think that's just unfair.

UPDATE: (03/14/07)

Finally, Ready To Fall is finished.

I can't believe it, actually. I tried to read the last chapters over and over just to be sure that I was really ready to publish it and end the story--if I wouldn't have regrets later on. Eventually, I just had to close my eyes and hit 'complete'.

After four years--wow, Priss, four years?--I've finally closed a chapter to this story of Mikan and Natsume, which could only mean I can start a new one again!

Although, with how long that story took me, I won't make any promises. Because if I was busy then, I might be busier now, especially the next few days. But as I've said, I really want to write two more fanfic for Natsume and Mikan. We'll see.

In the meantime, if you're curious of what other things I'm busying myself with (as if my schedule's not hectic enough), you can check the sites above. You'll probably be able to read more of my stories there that aren't fan fiction.

I am so sorry for making you, guys, wait for so long for the Chapter 9 of Ready To Fall.

As I have said in my last profile update, I've been busy.

I am now working. OMG! I'm earning money! Yey!
How our shift changes almost every week is kind of hell, but bearable. At least things are more stable now, and all the occasions (weddings and graduation) are finally over. It's just work for me now, and this. So hopefully, I'll be able to upload my chapters continuously.

Thank you all for your patience. I hope you won't get tired of waiting for my updates. I'm really trying my best. I'm very grateful! (",)

UPDATE: (04/08/07)

I cannot believe this! Last time, I said that I probably would be able to update faster. But then, more than a week later, and still I haven't uploaded a new chapter to Ready To Fall.

To my readers, forgive me. I'm really trying to find time. A lot of things are happening lately at home.First, since I'm graduating (Yey! Finally... Hehehe...), I have to look for a job so I was fixing my resume and stuff.
Second, in a few weeks, my cousin's going to get married, and I'm part of the entourage. Therefore, I've been helping with the preparations.
Third, in two months time, my parents are going to celebrate their Silver Anniversary, so we're also starting with the preparations for their renewal of vows (so exciting!).
Lastly, (gosh!) I couldn't stop thinking of my next story for Gakuen Alice. It's sort of a sequel. I came up with this idea months ago, but I tried to set it aside for a while so that I could focus on my current story. Unfortunately, it's stuck in my mind. I promise that it would be more exciting than Ready To Fall: more action, more Alice, more people, more setting and more love/romance.

So, guys, bear with me for a little longer, and I promise I'll finish Ready To Fall. I already saw the ending. I have envisioned it even before I uploaded this story, so don't worry. We will all see its ending.

P.S. I'm currently setting up a blog, which will contain some of my ideas for stories, longer author's notes and summaries/ discussion about my authored stories, tips that I picked up about writing that I would like to share to everyone (especially those who are aspirant writers, like myself), etc. Once I finish my first article, I would post the link here in my profile page. Hey, guys!

I want to apologize for those who have been waiting for my story Ready To Fall to be updated. Due to unforeseen rainfall of term papers for school, and with the finals coming up, I have to set aside writing for a while--at least for around two to three weeks. I have to do this if I want to graduate.

You have no idea how much this pains me not to continue writing it. Don't worry though. It's only temporary. I'll be back very soon. See you, guys, for my next chapter!

'Priseya Lane'

Priseya Lane is a character on two of my stories.
In one of those stories, where she's not the protagonist, Priseya is a writer.

I would like to think of her as the secret me. Majoring in Business Management and all, I think, makes me an unlikely candidate to be a fiction writer. But, really, writing is my life. It has been ever since I started high school.

Imagination is a good tool to come with your talent and skill. I guess, I have a lot of it (imagination, I mean). I'm not saying I'm a really good writer. Maybe I'm just average. I don't have any formal training, so I could really use some improvements here and there.

I'm thankful for sites like fanfiction.net, because this is one of those places where aspirant writers, like me, can unleash their imagination, without worrying so much about acceptance.

Writing is like cooking.
The final result will depend on the quality of the ingredients.
It also requires the cook to know measurement, timing, temperature and presentation.
